As the weather is getting warmer for many people their freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...

Check the squirrel-cage fan mounted on the top of the freezer condenser unit. The motor connects to the squirrel-cage with a friction-fit rubber coupler, and the coupler can wear out, causing the squirrel cage to barely turn even though the motor runs fine. Result was lots of ice build-up on the condenser coils, and no circulating air. Direction of airflow is into the bottom of the condenser housing and out the top.
