Unfortunately, that part is not avail separately and the whole door assembly will have to be replace which is over £200. I think I'd live with the fogged door.
Sorry!
ps the door assembly is part no.241090

While using my dacor microwave, I started to notice a plastic like smell, and then noticed the glass door had fogged like a seal had broken. What's going on?

Some ovens use a plastic material, which is impregnated with a ferrite material, to choke microwave leakage at the edge of the door. If this is melted, the oven should not be used, and it would have to be replaced. After replacement, a leakage test would have to be done.

All parts inside door are good , the window was frozen and went to open window and glass seperated from the track, what do I need to do to reattach glass to track? Goo, clips what holds glass to track

Did the plastic window retaining clips break? If so then I suggest to either fabricate metal clips, or buy them, and JB weld them to the glass. In 10 years this is the only way to defeat the plastic windoiw retaining clip problem.

Is the glass clean?

Often the plastic will out gas and it will deposit a film on the glass. You might have to open it up and clean the inside of the glass with window cleaner. There is also a mirror in the scanner head. That can get fogged up too (in fact it gets fogged up more frequently than the glass plate). The trick there is to find the mirror below the slot and then clean it with a q-tip that has been dipped in alcohol.

Glue on the face

Try using a fingernail to pick at the area--does it affect the residue? If it does, try WD-40 oil and let it soak for a little while. If not and it does seem to be etched, then try baking soda, toothpaste, or auto body rubbing compound to rub it out--this requires pressure and some elbow grease! It would seem that "goo gone" would have damaged more than the area of the sticker if it truly affected the plastic (which is probably polycarbonate type similar to modern auto headlight lenses). If the plastic were that tender, then normal washing operations would probably damage the window.

Clean front of Sub Zero

Try GOO Gone in either the liquid spray or the gel. This will not remove anything like paint or things like that. You can also use this on your cars finish and will not hurt it. So you are good to go

Kitchen aid, self cleaning

The only solution is to get a new oven, The paint in the oven burned off, and now the electic board is burning out. This oven when it hits about 400 degrees it makes this chemical plastic smell, and at selfcleaning it makes the same smell for 3 1/2 hours, and come to find out it burned the paint off

Scanner glass

Carefully! Don't spray anything directly onto the scanner glass. Mist a lint-free cloth with water and gently, very gently, wipe the glass. If you are just removing dust, this will work. If there are other 'things' on the glass, then you need to go a different route. If there are gooey or gummy things on the glass, use Goo Gone in the same manner as with the water above, but use VERY LITTLE as it can smear. You want to make sure that you don't scratch the glass. When you are done, use canned air or even a hair dryer to blow off any excess 'stuff' that you may not be able to see with the naked eye.

Is the fogging happening under the scanning glass or below the glass on the 3' LCD display?

Printer not picking paper

If your printer is not picking up the paper, then it has something to do with the feed rollers not the cartridge.
Take the tray out where you place the plain paper, then get a flashlight and look for some Gray colored rollers.
These rollers need to be cleaned every so often.
I suggest a chemical called "GOO GONE" that is available at your local hardware store. Do NOT get "GOOF OFF" this chemical is too strong and will also melt some plastic material that is out there.

Take a paper towel, and put some GOO GONE on it, and clean the gray rollers.
Then try printing something and see if this helps.
Good luck.
Please remember to post a feedback rating if I have helped you.
