Was water spilled on the phone? Was it dropped recently? If something happened you might have to take the phone in to a BestBuy for a repair. If this is due to no external damage, water or dropping the phone, you should call LG customer service as they might have a direct download to fix the software of the phone. Depends on how much water was spill on the phone will determine if it will be okay. You should wipe off the water with a towel, then open the back of phone and put it to dry near a fan do not put it near any heat.
Could be an issue with the screen itself. Most Mobile providers offer a one year warranty oh new phones. Contact service provider. If phone was refurbished usually only have a 60 to 90 day window to get phone repaired. Also check for water damage on back of phone...your provider will ask as part of trouble shooting step (or should anyways).
you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried
Was there ant water spilled onto it? Take out the battery, SIM card and memory card for 8 hours and then try again. If not hard reset the device and then check. If all fails then the touch screen needs to be replaced.
