Won't catch bobbin thread

I have a euro-pro shark model 9110 . I was sewing fine then the needle acted like it got jammed, so I turned the machine off and rethreaded the bobbin. Now the upper thread just dips down into the bobbin, but it doesn't catch the thread at all.

On my Euro-Pro Model 9110 the thread gets bunched up in the bobbin case. The needle has hit the bobbin case and damaged it. It is at a repair

shop, but they can't seem to find where to get the correct bobbin case for this machine.

In order to see whether or not my euro-pro 9110 had a timing issue, the service rep had me change out the needle (making sure I was using anything but a Singer brand needle--they do not work in these machines). I re-threaded the needle, took out the bobbin casing and the plastic ring encasing the bobbin, then lowered the needle to see if the hook on the metal ring holding the bobbin actually catches the thread on its own. If it doesn't catch, it's a timing issue and needs repair. They can walk you through this process of troubleshooting and set up repair if need. The upper thread becomes jammed inside the lower track of the shuttle. What can I do?

Try a brand new needle. Change thread. Make sure the needle is installed facing the correct direction and is pushed all the way up. The upper tension may be too loose.

Short of that, could be the machine's timing is off.

Why does the bobbin case pop out and jam the thread?

First check that the thread in the bobbin is facinf the correct way. Then check tension on top. Also check to see if you have the same thread on top and in bobbin. Also needle and material can cause the bobbin to jump. Make siure that the needle thread stays where it should, if one of the threading sites come undone this can cause bobbin jump too.Hope something here helps.:-)

My needle is not picking up my bobbin thread. How can I correct this issue?

Could be you are using the wrong needle. If it is too short it will not pick up the bobbin thread. Or your machine could be out of time.

Need a blow up diagram of the timing parts for Shark Intelli-Sew Euro-Pro Model 9110.

I had a timing problem, I believe, and fixed it. But its not yet perfect.....What happened was the top thread was not being caught by the bobbin holder. So when I "sewed", there were no stitches. When I watched the bobbin through the window, the bobbin didnt turn, and thread didnt whiz around the bobbin holder as it should with each stitch. I even made a video to see if there was a timing problem...the needle went down well before the bobbin holder "thread catcher hook" arrived to catch the loop. So I took off the plate underneath the bobbin holder, and adjusted the timing. When you do that you will see a cogwheel that rotates as the bobbin holder rotates. Three alan wrench screws hold it tight to the axle that rotates with the handwheel/footplate. I loosened the alan wrench screws, and then did the following. Hold the needle holder so it doesnt move, and at the same time turn the hand wheel a little. This adjusts the timing of the needle relative to the bobbin turning. then plug the machine in, and see if the bobbin wheel is now catching the thread. Keep adjusting until it does. Then tighten things back up, and VOILA! Im not sure this is the best way to adjust the timing, but it works. My machine went from no stitches at all, to sewing nicely. Its not yet perfect, as it jams every now and then. But that may be because the timing is still a little off, or because the thread is bad, or the tension of the thread is not quite right......working on that still.......

The thread in the bobin isn't comming up too the needle. I have removed the face plate and cleaned it out, but it still isn't working. What could this be?

Make sure the needle is facing in the correct direction
Put the bobbin in the bobbin case leaving a
2 to 3 tail.
Thread the top of the machine correctly, leaving a 3 to 4 inch
tail after threading the needle.
Hang on to the end of the upper thread and use the handwheel to drop the needle.
continue to turn the handwheel to raise the needle. Pull on the end of the needle thread and a loop of bobbin thread should come up.
make sure there is no lint or loose thread in the bobbin area

I have a Shark Intelli Sew 9110 Euro Pro. It was

There is no solution for that problem. My machine was doing the same thing, I returned it for "repair". Got it back 2 wks later and had the same problem. Just the other day, the machine did that, and then something "popped" and now the upper thread won't catch the bobbin thread. I called Customer Service and was told that if I want my machine repaired, I have to send them a check with the machine for $81! Your best bet...get rid of the Intelli-Sew and buy something that doesn't break every month or so!

Euro-Pro Shark Intelli-Sew 9110

you need a new bobbin case, only problem is finding the right one. I am currently wasting hours trying to find one for our 9110 intelli sew which has needle holes punched through it from where it jumps right out. I think lots of manufacturers know fine which parts fit the Euro-Pro but would like all of us to scrap them and go out and buy theirs!

Thread getting caught underneath

you need to replace your shukle that holds the tread bobbing below.it is either slack or broken . if it is slack then you tighten the little screw that holds a cover that gives the thread tension .if its broken then replace it.once the thread is slack below it will cause your thread to bundle up.
