This procedure applies to all LG's models that support the "All" option for region codes.
1. Power on (NO Disc.)
2. Press Pause
3. Enter 314159 (with remote) Display will show "FF"
4. Quickly press "0" (for all region)
5. Press pause
6. Power off and power on after 20 secs
To make this player region free (or change the region), do the following:
* Ensure that there is no disc in the player (ie: "no disc" is displayed).
* Press PAUSE
* Enter 314159
* Enter the region code (0 for region free, or 1-6).
* Press PAUSE
* Turn the player off for a few seconds.
* Turn the player back on
* Voila! You beauty!!
1. Go to http://hk.lge.com/support/support_lgeservice.jsp 2. Go to "Product Support" 3. On the left panel, find "Device Driver", then "DVD Player/Recorder". 4. Download the "RH3xx.iso" from the linked page. 5. Burnt ISO to a CD (must be burnt as an image, use free software such as ImgBurn http://www.imgburn.com/) 6. Load CD onto the LG player 7. You will be prompted to choose a new region code - go with 0 for region-free
I just got a RH387H in Hong Kong, region 3, but the above method doesn't work, this model has slightly different icon, no "lock" icon, I tried in other similar location but no effect, hopefully someone will provide a method.

2. Use remote to open disc tray
3. Use remote to go to setup area of menu (Home - Left) and scroll down to 'Lock' symbol
4. Press 0 seven times
