My new Whirlpool 3 prong dryer spins counter clockwise. Why not clockwise?

Is the air blowing from the exhaust in the back of the dryer and are clothes drying?
if the motor turned the other way, you would have no air flow. The dryer is working as designed. Also, if the drum turned clockwise, the idler pulley would not keep the belt tight. Some dryers turn clockwise, some counterclockwise.

The light dome on my ceiling fan is stuck and I'm putting a lot of force behind it and it won't budge. I know I'm turning it the right way, I even tried heating it with a blow dryer. Any suggestions...

Depends on what type of fan you have some do get stuck and feel like they are going to break but you can try this trick. As you are turning the globe counter clockwise pess the globe upward and if tht does not work try spraying some magical WD 40 (very little) and see if that works.

How do you lock spindle on Delta Osillating sander to change sand rolls?

The spindle screw is reverse tread and you need to turn it clockwise to loosen and counter clockwise to tighten the screw. You can usually hold the spindle with your hand then turn the screw clockwise to loosen the screw. Worst case scenario, carefully turn the machine upside down. Place it on a clean supporting surface. Use a flat-head screwdriver or similar device to remove the plastic gear cover to gain access to socket-head screw. Carefully place the machine on its side. Attach the spindle adapter to the motor shaft turning the spindle adapter counter-clockwise on the shaft.
NOTE: Motor shaft has a left-hand thread.
Place a 7/16" open-end wrench on the flats of spindle adapter. Insert a 3/16" hex
wrench into the socket-head screw located where the plastic gear cover was removed.
Hold the hex wrench to prevent the motor shaft from turning. Turn the wrench counter -clock wise to
fasten the spindle adapter on the motor shaft.
Reinstall the plastic gear cover that was removed above.

Ac fan not turning on I can ''stick start it'' but which direction?

The condensor fan should be sucking air from the top and blowing it through the coils, probably a counter clockwise direction. The buzzing/humming sound is confusing to me. A humming sound sounds like a motor that can not turn over to start. A starting capacity would be needed. Just because you changed it out last year does not mean it is good. A buzzing sound sounds like a contactor problem. Contactors buzz and after a while, they will fail. In any case, you can "stick start" the condensor fan PROVIDED you are sure the ac compressor is working (this is for a short and temporary use). Also, you may have a high load duty capacitor that assists in the unit running. This will affect your condensor fan operation if it is not good. Unless you know all the components and operations of ac electrical, I would highly recommend calling out a professional.

Correct rotation of copressor

Checked all the IR compressors in stock and all turn counter-clockwise facing pulley, however you could check the pump for fan angle on pulley. The fan on the compressor pulley blows air towards the pump. Generally, pumps turn CC because that would allow for the use of gasoline engines which all turn CC. Please email you questions, and Good Luck.

Dryer spins counter clockwise

When installing new belt the belt comes off the right side of the drum and through the idler and around the motor shaft, then up the left side
