Whirlpool Cabrio We have a whirlpool Cabrio. After trying to check pockets on clothing something we forget and change is left in pockets. The money then goes into the pump. There is no screen to stop the form happening the pump has been relaced once and will probaly need it again. what can we do.

Hi... no sorry their is not a filter in your cabrio...it one of this things were you have to clean your pockets

check with the service warranty company some of these models need an agitator wash plate update....

Check the pockets of pants and make sure there is nothing in them ....Take a damp cloth and wipe out the inside of the drum to try to get excess lint out of it.... also run a short wash with no clothes in washer to see if it cleans the washer out certain clothes such as towels should also be washed by themselves ...........

seems like u may have washed something with a ink pin in the pocket I would check the interior of drum for some of this product . be careful about what u clean it with use something low suds

This is simple ... remove the change from the dirty clothes before you put them in. Put the money in your pocket ... or better yet, put a vacation jar on top of the machine and start saving for your next vacation or special event.

Do you have kids? My sons were bad for putting things in their pockets. Rocks, sticks, nails. Anything they were fiddling with outside. Many a times a small pebble or small nail would slip through the holes and make 'music'.
Now they are teenagers and when I do laundry I tell them if I find money in the machines it is mine. Guess what? They check their pockets good! XD

I work for an appliance repair company and I had a recent service call for the same exact situation on this washer. I also know that Rotary Position Sensor is linked to the F-51 error code. I have found that this is not always the case. On this paticular call the F-51 error code was caused by a piece of clothing (sock, wash cloth, etc.) being stuck or jammed between the internal basket and the outer tub. I removed the cloth and the washer ran fine, so give that a check first before you spend the money.
