I place a battery and the thing that happens is the imate logo with blue screen. Taken the battery out replaced and nothing happens.same as above.

remove the battery and re-insert it again.

Not a problem it happens just go to hp.com download the bios driver and use it on windows xp it will not work with anyother windows and run it with your ipaq connected to the pc. This will reinstall the complete bios software and bring it back to factory.

have you tried starting the ROM update over. if it recognizes part of the update it may give you an out back to your previous version. good luck.

u can format ur mobile if not become ok then reinstall phone appliation.

Dont worry about imate JAMA hanging problem, just through your imate on the concrete wall, the hanging problem will definately resolve...

I had the same problem with my Pioneer Inno Gex-Inno2BK XM radio receiver. One evening while leaving work, I gently took it out of the cradle & the screen suddenly went completely blank & all white. I could still hear music but there was no screen visible. Solution is this: (1) Gently remove the back cover which covers the battery. (2) Gently remove the dark blue square battery which is only about 1 inch (width) by 3/4 inch (height) by 1/4 of an inch in thickness. I removed mine by holding the receiver upside down & gently shaking the battery with one hand until the battery came out into my other hand. After about 4 or 5 gently shakes, it came out. (3) Wait about 15 seconds. (4) Place battery back into XM radio receiver being careful to line the copper power receptable on the battery with a corresponding surface inside the receiver. Each copper area is only about 1/10 of an inch by 1/10 of an inch. Use this as a guide when putting the battery back in to make sure it's lined up properly. (5) Gently slide the cover back in place & let it snap into place. (6) Turn receiver back on by pushing power button like normal. (7) XM receiver should boot up with a full display just like new. All recorded songs are still in place. Nothing has been lost. Problem solved. Root cause of problem is probably some type of boot-up issue with the receiver in which the battery (i.e., the power supply) just happened to be slightly ajar...which also persisted even when placing the receiver back in the cradle until the above steps were taken. 1. Start the laptop
2. when the logo screen turns black start pressing F8 a few times.
3. A Windows Boot Options screen should show on the screen
4. If you see the Windows Logo (the normal thing when Windows loads, then press reset and try again
5. At the Windows Boot Options screen select "Last known good configuration" and press Enter twice

It "should" now load normally, if not then..

1. Replace step 5 above with "Safe Mode" and see if that loads all the way through. If so, then restart and see if its OK now.

If not, then post back with any error messages and we can look at something else.

Hi try a hard reset.. i think a firmware update will remove the problems !!

Remove the battery, Simultaneously hold volume(-) button and red hangup button, while still holding those keys, insert the battery and wait for the led to go out, release keys and device will hard reset.

Start->Settings->System tab->Master Clear->1234->ok
