Error code 43 on F& P washing machine

We have error code 43 on F &P washing machine - does anyone know how o fix this? Thanks

  • Anonymous Mar 25, 2014

I am looking for the manual to a Lenco lwm4501v washing machine, and can't seem to find it anywhere. I need to machine wash a blanket with a high-sentimental value, and don't want to ruin it. the blanket calls for a cold wash and I don't know how to set it up on the machine I have.
If anyone knows where I can get the manual, or how to set up a cold wash on said lenco machine, I would love to hear about it. Thanks :)

The micro switch or the lever that activates it seems to have been the cause of the Error Code 43. Have re-seated the switch in its holder and ensured the activating (out of balance) lever is moving freely. The switch appears to be OK and now it is all re-assembled, the Error Code 43 is gone. Machine is operating normally again.

Out of Balance Switch was located below the right hand side of the computer board (module).

F & P Intuitive Eco Washing Machine Code 43. I followed the instructions from of an entry on this site to look at the out-of-balance switch behind the computer board. (I can't find this advice again to add my findings.) One of the two connection points into the switch was badly corroded. I cleaned the terminal with an automotive points file then sprayed both parts of the connection with WD40.

The machine is now working OK and the code 43 message has gone.

The out of balance switch is playing up which is located under the right hand side of the computer board. This can be bypassed by joining the two wires togeather which will get it going straight away without swapping parts, but it will not stop when out of balance so you will have to manually stop it after that. Best solution is to replace the micro switch.

SOURCE: error code 43 on F& P washing machine

Carefully remove control console, then control board. Take note of which connector came from which terminal! Balance sensor is located under control board. Remove with care. Check that little button (size of pen top or pencil lead) is moving in & out freely. It is spring loaded. If it sticks, replace it. Hope this helps.

FP fault 43

Hi,

code 43 is an out of balance switch problem.Once replaced, would fix the issue.

One trick that might work ;-

I unscrewed top cover, then unscrewed and lifted up the grey computer cover. The balance switch is underneath on the right with a yellow and white wire coming off.

I removed switch from clip and then removed the wires/clips from contacts. There was definitely corrosion on the contacts. I soaked switch overnight in vinegar. Then rinsed with water. Then dried switch out for day.

Put it all back together and am now on second load of washing.

Thanks.

Intuitive washer code 43

Thx to fixya l sovled my code 43 by removing and cleaning my balance control switch. If anyone needs to know here step by step
1 Make sure the plug is out ( dont want curly hair do you )
2 Remove 2 screws from back of control panel and lift off
3 Remove 1 screw holding grey module panel
4 Under grey module on right hand side is the balance control switch with 1 white and 1 yellow set of wires
5 remove wires ( make note on where they plug back into )
6 2 small clips hold the switch in place, open them gently and pull switch out

Its that simple , clean the contacts with some wd40 or bicarb soda in hot water to get rid of any corrosion, make sure that the little button on the side springs out freely ( tiny drop of oil/wd40 ) clean or replace plugs on the white / yellow wires. install and do that washing!!! It worked for me but if the switch is too far gone no need for a service man just get a new one and go for it .

Good luck Pieman
