What are you trying to control with the remote? Try pressing the button on the remote that corresponds to the device you are trying to control first, and then try the remote again. I hope this helps, and good luck! Der Strom

How do I tune my humax freesat remote to my tv

Hi John the steps below shows you how to use the remote. If you need more information there's a link included for the Humax website. There you'll find the codes and also setup guides.
https://uk.humaxdigital.com/support/rem_code/

How to use the Universal Remote Control
1. Select the mode(PVR, TV, DVD, AUDIO) you want to set by
pressing the corresponding button on the remote control. The button will blink once.
2. Keep pressing the button for 3 seconds until the button lights on.
3. Enter the 3-digit code. Every time a number is entered, the button will blink. When the third digit is entered, the button will blink twice.
4. If a valid 3-digit code is entered, the product will power off.
5. Press the OK button and the mode button will blink three times. The setup is complete.
6. If the product does not power off, repeat the instruction from 3 to 5.
Note:
• When no code is entered for one minute the universal setting mode will switch to normal mode.
• Try several setting codes and select the code that has the most functions.

Humax displays 'synapse' when trying to view video. sound is ok

I had this problem, perhaps after pressing some keys on the remote control wrongly.

I turned off the TV at the mains. I turned off the PVR at the mains.
I turned both the TV and the PVR back on, and both worked correctly.

Have Humax 320 with remote RM-F01 and remote stopped working - batteries work in other remotes. There is a number displayed 576i which may be a fault code.

Normally repairing circuit boards to remote controls will be very difficult. Even though you get it repaired, the repairing cost might exceed the price of a new one.

I have a Humax PVR 9300T with a RT-531B remote. Suddenly the remote has stopped working although the batteries in it are fine. What can I do to fix this?

from "sceptical Glenn". I had the same problem & saw solutions so thought why not!!!.unplugged box, removed batteries, waited 10 mins.Held down "ON" button for a good minuet.Pressed all buttons from top left to right all the way down"like reading a book" even the ones under the slidey bit.Replaced batteries pressed buttons again in the same sequence, plugged the box back in pointed remote at box held "ON" button down for another minuet, then crossed my fingers.Pressed a button and it worked,"Wheay" success it worked it worked.Never again will anybody call me sceptical Glenn again. Thanks for the solution I am now a happy remote control using person once again, never having to leave my settee again only for a beer,or the loo or food, but that can also be rectified as I sit near the window...the pizza man can pass it through to me.

Humax remote RM-F01 takes around 4 seconds before you can press another button. Is working fine but the PVR light flashes 6 times before I can use the remote again.

I had exactly the same problem with my Humax remote RM-F01
, I just changed the batteries and it was fine after that..I think because you use one remote for all and batteries are only AAA's, they dont last as long, get some duracells.

Humax Foxsat HDR sudden Remote Control failure..

Make sure you have pressed the "PVR" button at the top. If you have accidentally pressed on on the others TV, DVD or AUDIO then they will light up when you press another button signifying that the remote is trying to send a signal to them rather than the PVR...which is where you want it to go.
