Casio watch no longer beeps.

After the battery went dead and was replaced, the watch no longer made it's beeping sounds, meaning that the alarm and countdown timer were useless. How do I turn the sound back on? It is an old Casio telememo 30.

Check and make sure when you put in the new battery, near the battery there should be a small spring which makes contact withe peizo speaker on the back of the watch, my have dropped out of its hole, which may be the problem

If you had a look and the spring is still there ,then this would just be that the spring isnt quiet making contact withe the peizo buzzer on the watch back cover

How can I disable the hourly beep of Casio AE-1200whb-3bvdf watch please?

Question edited for a little more clarity.

This is one of those watched with multiple dials and dozens of functions. It sounds like there is an hourly repeating alarm at 10 minutes to the hour. All time zones are synchronised to the top of the hour. The best thing to do is remove the batteries for 2 minutes and replace them. Then set the time again.

I replaced the battery in my Casio telememo 30 and now there is no beep for the alarms.

You can try turning the back around 180 derees or you may have lost the little spring inside of the movement when you replaced the battery.

How can you make a "Casio f-91w" watch not beep when pressing the buttons?

Push the lower left button. The alarm time is showing.
Press the lower right button and it will cycle the hourly beep and alarm on/off.
Press the lower left button to exit when the setting are what you want.

Casio SPF 40 beeper not working after battery change

There is this little spring which fits in one of the small holes in the watch. When I tested my watch without the spring, there was no beep. With the spring in place the sound worked nice again. So (IMO) apparently the little spring is used as contact between the watch en the "speaker" placed at the back of the watch.

Pieter

I had the battery in my Casio G Shock DW 6800 replaced. Since then none of the beeps or alarms have worked. Is there a reset button he didn't press?

There is a reset button inside your watch, but I don't think that is the problem. Most likely, there is a spring that makes contact to the watch and the back of your watch case, and it fell out by the person replacing your battery. I would definitely go back to the place where you had the battery installed, and have them take care of the problem buy ordering you a new spring or have them pay for you to send it to Casio.

Small 'eye' icon??

The "eye" icon appears when you have your backlight set to auto. that means when you move your wrist to look at your watch the light comes on automatically. I have found this to be a huge drain on the life of the battery. to turn it off hold down the light button (the grey button on the front with the red "g" on it) untill you hear it beep.

As for the watch dieing when the alarm goes off that is a good indication that you need a new battery.
