Press SRC+EJECT, then RESET.
I'm not sure if this will reset it, but in the front of your navi
system there is a tiny hole (below the volume control knob). It'd
probably be best to use the end of a paper clip or the tip of the pen,
but you could just click that and it should reset the system. If
anything, the code should be 0000, at least my default code was that.
Also, maybe in the user guide can find more details.
You did not enter the security code immediately after first start-up.
Put the equipment back into the original operating
conditions by pressing RESET key. Then enter the code, which is printed
on your Car Audio Passport. If we have not answered your question please click on the icon to e-mail us: [email protected]
Hope this helps.
Hallo,my car radio kenwood dnx5260bt write"security code set"
What I have to do?
I had the same problem, I bought a car with the dnx5120 head unit , after relaxing the battery the head unit was asking for a code witch I didn't know so I try so many codes and research a lot and I found one thta worked for me 0123 , I hope this can be helpful
What code? if this is a personnel code, like one put in by the user then we can't help, any bypass must come from the support line of Kenwood, this information is not published on the internet fro obvious security reasons.
we have no information on the code here at fixya, this code was inputed by the original owner for anti theft reasons ans is not avail on the internet, sorry but that is juist the way it is, if the code bypass was avail on the internet it wouldn't be a "SECURITY CODE" WOULD IT, and Kenwood never came in any GM truck or car, it is an added accessory, u must call Kenwood CUSTOMER SUPPORT to get a work around for this probem

Click on this link below and in the forum are some Kenwood code reset procedures
http://www.webmasterworld.com/foo/3080291.htm
Your code number is XXXX (KCAR)
* Press numeric key "5" ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track
key
* Press numeric key "2" ( 3 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track
key
* Press numeric key "2" ( 1 time ) and press the Track UP/Next Track
key
* Press numeric key "7" ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track

i am also pretty certain that you will need to use the remote control to input your code.
If this master reset does not work, the unit will need to be sent to kenwood with proof of purchase for them to reset it. ................... in saying that I am yet to hear of this procedure not working.
hope i helped, and please dont forget to rate my solution. :-)
cheers
