We have a Whirlpool duet washer that runs through most of a wash cycle and stops before rinsing. It gives a 'F 02' flashing code. Also, it doesn't dispense the fabric softener or liquid bleach.We tried resetting it per the user manual and verified that the drain hose is not clogged.
Disconnect your washer from the power source on the wall. Open up the machine; examine all the connections; pull out and re-connect all possible connections. The fault could be a loose connection after all.
Helped?
My Whirlpool Duet GHW9250ML1 also stops mid-cycle with an error code F02 leaving water standing in the tub. I press cancel twice which clears the error code F02. Then I press the start button and wait a few seconds for the door to lock again. Then the cycle actually finishes. I have to do this with every wash cycle now. I suspect that it is the control unit on the upper front of the cabinet that is failing and needs to be replaced.
Our washer stops in cycle and flashes "F 06"
Its probably a blocked water filter to this fabric water valve or the coil has failed on the valve,it should be 3800kohms,check the filter at the water inlet connection,hope this helps
Hello & Welcome to FixYa
This is a common issue with Whirlpool Duet washer however;
your washer needs a reset to resolve the control lock problem.
Press and hold the END OF CYCLE/CYCLE SIGNAL button for 15 seconds to reset
the control. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
