When worn, analog hands lose time. If left sitting, everything's OK. I've let it sit for 3 weeks, analog and digital time stay in sync. Worn for one day, lost about 10 minutes. Very confusing.
I have a new watch and it kept losing time all day as I wore it. I set my other watch and my new watch before I went to bed and left them on the night stand. In the morning they were exactly the same. I cut a piece of duct tape to completely cover the back of the watch and it is now keeping time just fine. There must be something in my system that reacted to the watch but the duct tape solved the problem!
This is usually a indication that the minute hand is slightly loose on its pinion. This requires that the hand be tightened, so that it does not slip. Best left to a watchmaker.
