Look up online how to make a pandoras battery and download magic memory stick. It involves knifing open your battery pack and removing a pin. Very simple. Just be warned, u run the risk of breaking the battery as well as bricking your psp, which will ruin it forever.

How to downgrade psp version 6.00? I cant download ISO games. I want to return the old version of my psp 3.9 m33 so that I can play Iso games. Please help me.My psp is PSP 2001.

yes,you can downgrade thank god because if you were model 3000 it is hard to downgrade yourself 1,go to a sony provider in your country and buy a original slim battery then you can make a pandora battery and magic memory stick there are plenty of videos in youtube about this in youtube and google or you can buy the pandora battery and magic memroy stick from here by not risking anything(accepts paypal) http://pandorabatt.blogspot.com/

I upgrade my psp in version 5.01, now i cant play my games

the PSP has to be hacked in order for you to play downloaded games. If you get a magic memory stick and a pandora battery it can be done easily even with the 5.50 firmware version. Google pandora battery, and magic memory stic or (psp mmj tutorial) and you get lots of good info.

Hope this helps.

Iso/cso won't run to PSP version 4.20

You cannot play .iso or .cso files (or any homebrew games) on your PSP unless you have firmware 1.5 or a custom firmware. Any "off-the-shelf" firmware such as 4.2 will not support these types of files. They will just show up as "Corrupted Data".

You can go through the process of downgrading your firmware from 4.2 to 1.5, then from 1.5 you may upgrade to a custom firmware such as 5.00 m33-4. Doing so would require a good deal of technical know-how and a LOT of patience. If you do not want to risk ruining your PSP, do NOT try this. Research methods of downgrading such as "Pandora's Battery" and other firmware downgraders.

You were able to download games from the PSP website because they are programmed to play on the current firmware. Even if you were to (somehow) properly convert the .iso or .cso files to an EBOOT.PBP file, it would not run unless you have firmware 1.5 or custom.

GAMES FOR PSP 4.05

You need a pandoras battery + magic memory stick. Look on google, there are a million guides. This downgrades it to version 1.5, and then lets you add custom firmware.

Saving .iso games

if you're running the official sony firmware (not a hacked version) you might as well forget iso's and homebrew for now. you'll have to downgrade your firmware first then go back to a custom firmware. i haven't been keeping up w/ the psp hacking scene lately, and i'm not sure what is the latest firmware that can be downgraded. a good place to check for more info is psp.qj.net as well as their forums. hope that helps!
