Chances are your problems lie with your connections themselves, most cases its with the splitter box if you are using one, if u are then rather remove the splitter box altogether, u will then need a set of RCA cables (the red white and yellow cables that come with DVD players) use these to connect the first point directly from the decoder to the TV using a free AV input behind the TV. form then on proceed to connect the cable going to the room directly to the RF OUT port behind the decoder (make sure the copper and aluminium wires dont end up touching, but use both, the copper on the inside and the alu on the steel outer casing) if this doesnt work check your connections and if all fails replace the cable as a last resort

How much should i charge for painting a two bedroom apt. Inteior only. walls and cealing two bath one living room kitchen and laundry room

About 50 cents a square foot would be a reasonable price for a straightforward paint job (no stairs, cathedral ceilings or furniture to move).

How do video transmitters work?

A transmitter works by turning the audio/video device it is connected to into a audio and video signal broadcaster. So that when a receiver is connected to another device within range of the transmitter it will be able to pick up the signal from the transmitter and play on this second device. Say you have a TV in the family room and one in your bedroom, if you connect a transmitter to the one in the family room and a receiver to the one in the bedroom they will both be able to receive the same transmission.

Hi, I'm having problems connecting to the router (Virgin) to my bedroom from lost of signal strength, so i brought Sitecom Wireless Range Extender 300N to boast the signal. I've installed the Range...

1. did you first try to connect to the router via wire directly with it in the same room? then set up the wireless to work in the same room too.

2. once you've done that and it worked then move it to your bedroom. If it doesn't work there it could be that there is something inbetween the two rooms that is blocking the signal...ie a furnace can do that

3. if it won't work try relocating the router to another location. Try a different location in the same room first

but as i said , first get it set up and running in the same room so you know for sure it works.

I have just purchased three First Alert carbon monoxide alarms. My home has a basement and bedrooms on the first and second floors. My questions stem from the installation. Should the installation...

When I worked Electrical in a Hardware store we were told by Nighthawk and f\First Alert and we told our customers that you want the detectors 4-6 feet off the floor never near a water heater or furnace since this can cause false alarms. The CO will rise, so one on each floor should be enough near a central stair if possible. Other wise make sure at least one is in the bedroom.

Can't pick up channels itv, channel4/5 and itv2 on my bedroom freeview tv and down stairs doesn't pick up film4 and a few others?? I have only recently connected the bedroom aerial to the ariel which was...

hi when fitting an new aerial line you need to put a splitter in the line.
4963215_1-oo4k03phwtyaxld0gomgkgbv-2-0.jpg it looks like this. they say satellite/tv on them this will stop interference from the boosters and the tvs on the same line, you connect it on the main arial line. you can then use both boosters if signal is weak but most digital aerials are good enough without them. it you have the right arial for your area. there are meany sizes. but say you are 15 miles from your tower then use a small aerial has the same fitting as this pic. that is out side aerials, inside aerials ie in loft you need a high gain aerial , long type. hope this helps. also if the aerial is not lined up it will not get great signal there is an app you can use on iphone or androids, tables etc to help you position the aerial in the right place it's called Uk aerial alignment . tool on app shows you the towers in your area and the best ones to use and shows you the aliment to the tower for best results. good luck

Should be controllng one box. is controlling 2 boxes

Unfortunately, there is no solution for this issue.  The remote control sends out an infrared signal, which can be picked up as far as 40' away from the device.  And to make things worse, the signal will reflect off any surface such as glass, mirrors, or even brightly painted walls.
The only way to solve the problem is to block the path of the beam to the other room.  This may require closing a door or drawing heavy drapes closed.

Double vision on my samsung HDTV 1080i

If one or more of the colors, red, green or blue have separated from each other and you can`t correct the problem using the convergence procedure as described in the users manual, that would indicate you have a convergence problem. Bad solder connections on the convergence output chips are common. If the set had a rough ride down the stairs while moving, that may have facilitated in exposing a preexisting condition. However, the most likely cause is the natural failure of one of the convergence output chips and or related components and not the move. The fix is to have a qualified technician address the problem. This is not a do it yourself job.
