Everytime I try to graph anything, it flashes the normal coordinate plane for about a second before saying "ERR: INVALID DIM 1:Quit" It used to work fine a few days ago. I tried resetting the memory and it did not do anything. How do i fix it?
You have two lists that don't agree in length.
Solution 1 (easy)
Press [y=] and look at the top line - one of your Plots is highlighted.
Move the arrow to the highlighted one, press enter to get it un-highlighted.
Solution 2 (permanent)
Press [STAT] - EDIT: [1] to edit your lists. Go to the bottom of the lists and see which one is the longest. Delete (DELETE, not clear) the "extra" entries in the longest list until all lists are the same length.
Hello,
TurnOff the STATPLOTS by pressing [2nd][STAT PLOT][4:PlotsOFF]. Command echoes on the home screen. Press ENTER. I was going to add to reset all ram just in case.
Make sure you are drawing the right type of graph. To check that press [MODE], scroll down to 4th line to highlight Func and press ENTER, if you are drawing y=f(x) functions. The others are PARametric, POLar, SEQuence.
Hope it helps.
