My maytag centennial washer is brand new, haven't yet done a load, and it won't stop filling with water no matter what size load i select???
Sounds like a hose off pressure switch or faulty switch/ however make sure drain connected ok 1st....
My Maytag has a load size sensor that automatically fills the tub with the appropriate amount of water. This sensor gets over-ridden if the lid is opened while filling. In other words, don't open the lid during the cycle. If you do, the machine will fill to the top as if there is a huge load in the tub.

When I'm done with a load the washer only drained 3/4 of the way
Maytag Centennial washer
how to get top cover off to change out control board
maytag will fill up and go through all the cycles but wont spin out
Maytag Centennial washer fills then drains without agitating or finishing the cycle.
Maytag Centennial washer fills, drains, refills etc without completing a cycle. Only thing notices was the sensing light blinking longer before it finally started to fill.
