Our ceiling fan rotates and when the switch is up, it blows fine upwards; however when switch is down the air does not blow very hard, even on the highest setting. HELP!!
I would guess that the blades are on upside down. Ceiling fans are not supposed to work the same as desk fans though. The idea is not to create a strong flow of air but to create a "cooling breeze" by speeding the convection currents. They work better when they are running slowly (like you see in the old movies)
