Its possible, the water valve will be energised to allow water to come in. The only way to confirm is to pull the fridge out and see if the noise is coming from where the water hose would normally be connected.

SOURCE: Frigidaire side-by-side model # FRS26H5ASB4 making humming or buzzing noise

I had the same problem. I found the buzzing noise was caused by ice build up around the fan motor inside the freezer. I believe water must have leaked down around the fan during a defrost cycle. I removed the ice maker, the ice cube bin and ice dispenser auger motor. It sounds complicated, but it isn't too bad. The ice maker and auger are connected with quick connect plugs. So just unplug, remove the screws and remove them from the freezer. You will need to remove several other screws as well, I believe 11 in total as well as the top freezer rack. This will give you access to the white aluminum panel that runs from the top of the freezer to about halfway down the back of the freezer. After you remove the aluminum panel you will see the fan about half way down the freezer. I found a lot of ice around my fan. The fan blades were hitting the ice causing the buzz. Remove the ice and the buzzing is gone. It took me an hour to complete this repair. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: water pump makes a buzzing sound when00 trying to

The pump is clogged with most likely a coin. You need to get access to the pump then remove the hoses.(Make sure you put a pan under the hoses to catch the water) After that you should be able to remove the objects.

SOURCE: fills with waters starts making a buzzing sound

Check to see if there is something(sock) in the pump. If not, try spin washer with pump hanging down, but not with hoses off.

Refrigerator has developed a low buzz or hum. Do I need to be concerned?

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator, LFHT1817LW1, is buzzing or humming. With modern, high efficiency compressors you may hear a high pitched humming or pulsating sound. Additionally, if you have an icemaker equipped inside of your refrigerator the water valve may produce a buzzing noise as the valve opens to fill the icemaker with water. I hope this has been helpful. -Matt

Loud buzzing from freezer

icemaker wont work in fridge. the buzzing sound might be the water solenoid operating and waiting for water level sensor to be happy. solenoid will make a loud harsh buzz check water supply to back of freezer and see if there is a lever on icemaker you can lift up to turn off.

Frigidaire front load washer that will not start . it just buzzes. when it does start it stops after washing and leaves water in clothes asn buzzes.

it could either be a bad door switch or something stuck in the pump or a bad pump.if you set it to drain/spin will it drain out the water or does it buzz there?if it does drain i'd have to say you have a bad door switch.the model number you sent doesn't come up,you can unplug the machine, remove the hose that goes to the pump or run it before you unplug it and see if it's the pump making the sound or if the center of the pump can be removed to clean out the pump and check the pump for coins and junk, use a shop vac and vac out all the water in the tub and then lossen the hose or center of pump until water starts to leak out and vac it up as it comes out, check the pump and put it back together, add some water with a bucket or something and see if it drains out,if it doesn't drain and it sounds like the pump is making the noise you have a bad pump,if it buzzes and it's not the pump change out the door switch.the buzzing is electrical, things that could make this sound are the motor, the solenoids on the water valve or the door switch,if you can do some checks like see if it drains or try to find where the noise is coming from would be helpful.good luck and i hope this helps you out.
