Contact the manufacturer's support for answers. It may need fixing or it may be normal. Some water in the bottom is normal to keep the seals wet, but you shouldn't have a lot of standing water.

Washing machine smells like mould

The odor may come from several sources. Mildew may be around the door's gasket. That might be cleaned with a rag and a half bleach/half water concoction. The soap dispenser tray may have had stagnant water present. Other hose areas may be growing mildew.

Here are some things you can try:

1) Run dishwasher powder detergent once a month through the washer. Or...
2) Run 3 quarters cup of bleach through an empty hot wash cycle once a month.
3) Yes, baking soda, ye olde oder absorber, can also be tried.
3) Clean the trap (where coins, etc. may be captured). Clean the filter.

Some High Efficiency machines have "high efficiency, HE detergents recommended for them. Does the drum have a soapy coating? If so, it will likely require at least an empty hot water cycle to get rid of the excess soap which may be responsible for the smell.

Naturally, if you are using bleach to clean the the washer door, you want to clean the bleach off too before you ruin some clothes by contact.

Hope this helps.

What does the red light descaling prompt light stay on? how can i know i have everything possible?

Hi,
Fill it up the tank with descaler and start the machine on descaling. Leave it to trow all the liquid and must finish to the bottom, leave the machine to get AIR when descaler finished. Then the machine will stop and will tell you to put fresh water to clean . Fill the water tank to the MAX level and continue with the program. When the water is on minimum ,machine will stop, and the descaling process must be finished.
Good luck

I have a 3 year old Samsung DMT800RFS dishwasher. It had a 9E error, so we changed the part on the side and replaced the interior gasket. Now we get a oE error and I can not enter Service Mode to re

I don't know if this is the same. However, on my washing machine I had to clear out the water trap at the bottom of the machine. I know I have to clean it out every 6 months to be on the safe side. This also helps the machine to not smell like old stagnate water and helps your clothing smell fresher with not having that water build up and sit. I found all strange things in all kinds of water overflow tubs.

My Keurig had the same problem. When you remove the water tank from the machine, look into the port where the water tank gaskets to the machine. There is a screen at the bottom of the port. Take a tooth pick and scrape the **** that is blocking the screens holes. Once the **** is loose take the machine to your kitchen sink and use the sprayer to pressure wash the **** out of the hole. Your machine will work perfectly now.

Our 3 month old machine started making a high pitched squeel the other day during the wash cycle. Now it has started on the rinse cycle on the Quick setting. Model LD149.

I share your frustration with the same machine. Mine is approx 3-4 months old and within the first month i had a leak at the base of the machine which was fixed under warranty. The following month the machine started leaving water in the base of the unit after the wash cycle was complete. LG claim it is an electronic fault in the circuit board. I have refused repair and am now claiming a replacement with them. I don't feel it is acceptable for a machine that's only 3months old to give problems such as these.

Machine does not want to start on any cycle.

Check salt chamber and add salt if empty. Check your inlet water flow.

I JUST fixed (I Hope!) my 11 month old B60 by taking a paper clip and a straightened safety pin to the top of the coffee maker (where the top pin punctures the top of the cup) and the BOTTOM pin which punctures the bottom of the cup. (remove the bottom dark brown holder by pushing up on it).

After one or two attempts, I ran water through it without the coffee cup, then used a decaf cup and brewed it just fine....

Bunn coffee maker leaking from underneath the bottom

Please get the model and the date code from the bottom of the machine and contact customer serivce. Depending on the date code, there might be a seal kit available or the machine can be replaced at no cost if 3 years old or less. If it is over 3 years old and the seal kit isn't available, the machine will be replaced at a reduced price.

Hotpoint dishwasher bci450

Here are the eco related error codes for your washer..
1)Light 3 (eco) flashes. Water is present in the flood catching tray at the bottom which usually indicates that there is a leak somewhere. More often than not this is just a pipe with a poor fitting and simply tightening the clip is enough to stop the leak. Our machine had a very slow leak from one pipe (not enough to trigger the alarm) which was fixed in this way. The leak is detected by a small float switch located in the flood catch tray.

Undo 4 screws on the metal plate under the dishwasher 3 at the front 1 at the back, this reveals The pump check the seals are in place on the waste pump.

2) Wash indicator lights 3 + 5 (eco + pre) flashing rapidly. Filter is clogged. Pull out the filter and clean it.
3)Runs for approx. 3 minutes and then stops. Lights 3 + 4 (eco and fast) flash. Probably caused by being plumbed into a hot rather than cold water supply. The incoming water is hotter than required for the wash which causes the machine to cut out. Plumbing the machine into a cold water supply will fix the problem with no apparent long term problems.
