Make double sure the batteries are in the correct way. It is easy to turn one around by accident.

SOURCE: conair scale ww36gd err reading

I have a WW36DG digital scale and most of the instructions are the same, so far as I can see. When you tap on the scale, 888.888 appears. It is just seting itself. If you step on the scale before it reads 00.0 it wil give you a Err signal. If you stepped on the scale after it read 00.0, and an Err signal appears, either your battery is very low or it is malfunctioning. it does have a 10 year warranty on it. For the person wanting to set the scale, here are the directions. Good luck.

Customizing Your
Weight Watchers® Body Fat Monitor
1. Tap center of scale platform with foot to activate digital display (display will
flash).
2. Wait for "0.0" to appear in display window.
3. You are now ready to input your personal data. Firmly press the SET button
located below the display.
Enter User Number
• P-01 will flash in display window
• Press UP or DOWN arrows to select your individual user
number (Ten user numbers available: P-01 through P-10)
• When selected user number appears in display, press SET
button to save user number
• The scale is now ready for you to enter your height
Set Height
• "Ht" (height) will flash in display window
• Press UP or DOWN arrows to scroll to your height measurement
• Press SET button to save height
• The scale is now ready for you to enter your age
Set Age
• "Age" will flash in display window
• Press UP or DOWN arrows to scroll to your age
• Press SET button to save age
• The scale is now ready for you to enter your gender
Set Gender
• The gender icons will flash in display window
• Press UP or DOWN arrows to select male or female icon
• Press SET button to save gender
• The scale is now ready for you to weigh yourself and to
determine percentage of body fat

SOURCE: Err 1 message on Taylor Lithium Elec Scale model 7346

This is a reply I received from Taylor customer support. I have followed this procedure enough times to wear out the original battery and still get the Err 1 message. You may have better luck.

Thank you for your e-mail. The reboot below may clear the error from
your scale. You may need to do this several times to completely reboot
the system. Please let us know if you have any questions or continue to
display the Error.

1. Remove the battery from the scale
2. Set the scale on the floor without the battery in place.
3. Stand on the scale for 10 seconds (still without the battery)
4. Carefully replace the battery without turning the scale on.
5. Using only one foot, tap the scale or apply just enough pressure to
turn on the display. (It should show dashes or zero's) IMMEDIATELY
REMOVE YOUR FOOT.
6. Let the scale turn off
7. Step on the scale for a weight reading

SOURCE: Fluctuating weight on Digital Scale from one minute to the next..

i believe that, like most electronic scales, the first time you get on the scale you must step off to allow it to zero itself. Then step back on to get your correct weight.

SOURCE: I changed the battery on bathroom scale Salter 987

I had the same problem with my Salter 987 scale. Pull the battery out for about 10 seconds and put it back in. Then push the scale once so it turns on. After the blinking stops, push it once more. The scale will now zero itself. After the scale has zero'd itself it may turn off after a brief moment. It's now ready to use normally. If you're standing on the scale when it's trying to calibrate to zero, it will assume your weight is zero. Don't stand on the scale after replacing the battery untill you first complete the steps listed above.

I have a DigitZ DZ3-600 and when I turn it on the word FULL in the display screen . What can I do to clear this and start using it?

My search is telling me that this is a scale. Is this correct? If so - this is the manual. \'FULL\' is not an error, but this is the correct model. If this is not a scale, please write again and provide more information:

The manual is short and PASTED after link to same here:

http://digitzscales.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage

Digitz DZ3-600 Manual

I. Operation

1. Place the scale on a flat, level surface and press the ON/OFF key to turn the scale on.

2. Once the start-up process completes and the scale goes to zero you are ready to weigh.

3. Place the quantity to be weighed onto the weighing platform.

4. Wait a couple seconds for the display to stabilize before taking a weight reading.

II. Changing the Unit of Measure

1. Press the MODE key to change the scales displayed unit of measure.

2. If the scale is turned off then back on, it will default to the last unit used.

• DZ3-100 Units: g (gram) oz (ounce) ct (carat) gn (grain)

• DZ3-600 Units: g (gram) oz (ounce) ozt (troy ounce) dwt (pennyweight)

III. Using the Tare Feature

You can use this scale\'s tare feature to subtract the weight of an empty container or vessel for net weight determination. NOTE: The weight of the container will subtract from the available capacity.

1. Place the empty container or vessel on the weighing platform.

2. Press the TARE key once. The display will then reset to zero. If the container is removed, it\'s weight will be displayed as a negative number.

3. You may now fill the container with the quantity to be weighed. The display will show the net weight of the contents.

4. To return to normal weight display (gross weight), remove any items from the weighing platform and

press the TARE key again to re-zero the scale.

IV. Calibration / Adjustment

1. Turn the scale on by pressing the ON/OFF key.

2. Wait for the display to show "0.0g" or "0.00g" then press and hold the MODE key until the display shows "CAL", then release.

3. Press the MODE key again. The display will flash "CAL" followed by the required calibration weight.

4. Place the required calibration weight on the center of the platform. The display will show "PASS" then return to normal weighing mode. Calibration is complete! You may now turn the scale off.

V. Error Codes

1. OUTZ - Zero range has shifted. Perform calibration adjustment. If the problem persists, the load cell may be permanently damaged due to overloading.

2. 88888 - Maximum capacity exceeded. Remove the extra weight to avoid damaging the load cell.

3. L - Batteries are low. Replace the batteries.

Tells different wieght each time

Does it tell you a different weight each time you weigh yourself in the same few times? Or day by day?
If its consecutive uses that give you different weights, if you're within 0.2kg, I wouldn't be surprised if the scale can't do better.
Otherwise, weigh yourself each day at the same time, and take an average of 3 weighings for the 'best' weighing.

If there were 8 coins of the same weight kept on 1 side and one coin of different weight but biy mistake the coin of the more weight gets mixed in those coins .we have to find the coin using top pan...

Compare any 3 coins vs and other 3: If the weight is the same, weigh the 2 remaining coins. If one side is heavier remove the lighter 3, and compare 2 of the 3 from the heavier side: If they weigh the same, the one not weighed is the odd coin, if the weight is different, you have found your odd coin on the scale.
