SOURCE: intex salt water witha 18x48 witha 2000/gph pump.

nothing is wrong that you cant fix
you must have your salt no lower than 2800ppm
and no higher than 3800
3000ppm is the best
make sure you run filter only for 24 hours once you have correct salt then start generating

one last thing test with strips that read #'s not the color strips

SOURCE: My salt water pump constantly

93 is sleep mode
after setting the # of hours you want the pump to run and it runs those hours it then goes to sleep mode

If you do nothing the unit will come on again in 24 hours and then run the same amount of hours as previously set

If you want to change the hours then un plug and re plug in

Every day could be different some days you may need 4 hours or so and others upwards of 12

SOURCE: I have added salt due to constant low salt

Way too high on the salt.. about 5000 to 7000 ppm. You should be around 2000 to 3000 ppm or 5.6 to 6.6... I had the same issue with my system and it's always the cell..Look inside the cell and if you can see white stuff inside, it needs to to be cleaned... The manual states to soak with vinegar for 6hrs.. I soak mine for 24, flush and soak again for 6hrs and flush again.. Comes our clean.. and the low salt alarm goes away until the next time the cell gets dirty with the white buildup... You can add an additive made by hth called "Cell Saver"..Prolongs the cleaning cycle... After you clean the cell and your filter, change your chlorinator cycle to 10 hrs with your pump to run 11 to12 until the pool clears and then lower to maintain the proper chlorine level.. Good luck and hopes this works for you.....

Testimonial: "I am soaking the cell now. Will check it tomorrow and see what happens. "

What is code 93

93 is sleep mode
after setting the amount of hours you want the system runs then down and then sleeps
the system will then turn on again the same time the next day and run those hours again

Unplug and re plug if you want to change the hours

also remeber it is not wise to let it run cycles like that
some days you need different hours of generating

It all depends on what chlorine level you started with

I lost my manual, What do the codes mean on the salt water chlorenator in particular the code "93"?

88 ia str8 filtering
90 is low flow
91 is low salt
92 is high salt
93 is sleep mode

after running the amount of hours you set for chlorine generation it will shut down and display 93
The system wil then turn back on 24 hours later for the same amount of time

this is ok but every day is different you may need 5 hours and sometimes 12 or any where in between

to reset just unplug and plug back in

To further help you look up some of my posts on green water and low salt I am positive you will find them very helpful

Code 93

93 is sleep mode
after running the hours you set it goes into sleep mode
It will turn on the same time that you originally set it to start and run its cycle again
Just unplug and replug to set it

Sleep mode is not always welcome since you may need different amount of hours on different days depending on sun, heat, and number of swimmers
Every day is different

Code 93 saltwater system

Hi, Code 93 is telling you that the system is done running, did you mean to say it said 92? That code would be for too much salt. If indeed it is a Code 92 you are getting, give Intex a call, or email. I have found their website to be very helpful, they have a F&Q's area. Good luck!
