This is a very manual model. no digital screens, control boards or buttons. Just knobs, light switch and a switch to use the convection option. the over is only 3 year old. the annoying thing is that after cleaning it with over cleaner (not self cleaning) the oven igniter stopped working. repair man said we must have sprayed the igniter. regardless the oven worked fine after that was replaced and a year later I have this new issue
SOURCE: Oven Temperture adjustment
On my Epicure, you are supposed to press the bake selector pad then press the + button to set the temperature to 500 degrees or higher. Then hold the bake button for 5 seconds. The temp display is replaced by 00. Release the bake pad and use the - or+ buttons to adjust the temperature in 5 degree increments. When finished push cancel (or just do nothing). Good luck. I tried this and my oven kind of went haywire. It decreased the temp by much more than the 10 degrees I had set it too. May be something else wrong with my oven though?

Press the bake key.
Adjust temperature to 550 degress.
Press the bake key again and hold it for 3 seconds.
The temperature +/- should appear.
You can then adjust temp +/- 35 degrees.

hummmm this sounds similar to what is happening to me. I am praying someone will have a solution, I don't want to have to explain to my daughter who is going to be 4 tomorrow, why I can't bake her cake.
SOURCE: Dacor Double Oven
HI - I just had the same problem - repairman came and reset the breaker in the oven which "tripped" (even tho I havent used the lower oven in months). Read posts here on other Dacor ovens which explain how to get to the reset switch to avoid having $150 in repair costs - I have not tried that myself tho but good luck!
