How do I set up my handheld UH850S handheld UHF-CB Transceiver. We are on channel 40 0 one receiver works prefectly but one has a PRI on the screen and I can call out but not receive answer

You did not mention which set you have, so look for a small switch (usually on the back of the set) or go into the menu and set the TV to the "broadcast" or "tv" mode. If the set is in the "cable" mode, you will not get any UHF channels above 13.

Open up the back of the radio and check the solder joint from the antenna connector. I had same problem and it was this.

i have a 4600 connex and if i turn the mic gain all the way up i get alot of modulation.can someone tell me how to fix that?
