Is this a rotary screw compressor? If so, is it blowing oil out of the air filter or out of the discharge air lines? If it's blowing oil out of the air filter you have a oil stop valve or minimum pressure check valve bad. If oil is coming out of the discharge air you need to change the seperator.

This is probably an industrial unit powered by a three-phase electricity supply.

If this is correct, the available current and voltages available at the supply are potentially much more dangerous than a domestic single phase supply. Great care, experience and properly rated tools are a must for locating problems.

3-phase motor control units can be quite complex and it is wise only experienced persons get to fiddle around with them. As no supply is reaching the control it shouldn't be an issue unless the supply is wired directly into it instead of employing a separate junction box.

If there is a junction box where the supply enters the unit, this is the place to begin checking if it is decided the supply is leaving the nearby wall-mounted main isolator and fuse unit - check the fuses first.
