Tc-p50u2 plasma tv won't power up. just blinks 10 times then nothing
Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

SOURCE: I have the same problem Panasonic Plasma TV wont come.
Alot of times capacitors on the power supply circuit board will go bad. They will bulge/dome or dry up which will cause this problem. Bad caps dont hold a charge, which is needed to maintain a voltage. The circuit board is two sided which makes replacing the caps difficult, and the board can be damaged and have to be replaced. Taking it to a repair shop may be cheeper and safer then doing it yourself. Having two-six caps replaced is a lot cheeper then a new board.

Either a bad power supply or a bad processor board.
A Good Service Shop should know what the 10 blinks are indicating.
May be a repair cost between $200 and 400 dollars.
Be prepared -

That is a error code and depending (Panasonic?) on model means either power board or another issue---the error codes can sometimes be misleading or too vague to pinpoint to one board.
Note: these (all brands) sets only sell boards, no individual parts.
Not knowing your skill level you may be able to tell me that, the first thing would be to examine the power board for damage or puffed up filter caps---let me know if questions here etc.

Type in the brand name of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window and the Search will start at once as you type in, and will show you all the related posts. It will make surf easy.
