My Simpson 750 Eziset toploader keeps showing error code E17 what does this mean and how do I fix it

the lid-lock button keeps beeping on my simpson eziset 750washing machine. how do i make it stop!

When the washer shows error code E17 you need to turn the tap fully on and check that the supply hose is not bent or jammed up, next make sure the filter is clean. Then make sure the water pressure is not too low. After you do all that, run a load with no clothes in the washer and use one cup of white vinegar and the code will dissappear

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.

The F1 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F1 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced .
