My 2 1/2 year old was in a Delta Crib that turned out to be Recalled and it was only because of the Drop Down side - they said there were no issues with her Crib itself but with all of the Issues they had had last year they are being safer and not sorry - On the board under the mattress I found the model # and I called Delta (Got their # off of DeltaEnterprises.com) and they sent me two peices to install to keep the drop down side from going down - and that fixed any issue it had - and it is a safe crib still. Call them do not tell them you got it second hand - and give them the Model # and they should send you a "fix Kit" for the problem. Free of charge.

You need to contact Ellis with your product information to purchase the needed bed rails. The bed rails cost anywhere between $150 -$200 depending on your model.

FYI: Many cribs may look similar, however their construction and hardware systems are different. Serious injury or death can occur if the incorrect hardware is used on a crib. Please ensure you actually have a Delta crib. Our cribs use a mattress board and not a metal frame. Our name Delta Enterprise or Delta Children’s Products can be found on the instruction sheet that is glued on the mattress board.

Safety rail
Safety rail bolt

Make sure the mattress support in in lowest position. Remove the front top rail and front panel. Attach both safety rails ( small side pieces) to the crib end leg using the safety rail bolts.

Go to lowes they have the same screws etc. you will need.
