It's worth the same as any other bike in the same mechanical and visual condition. It has no significant collectible value.

I was able to find the answer on a California University website. The model number was on the bottom of the bike near the pedals.

SOURCE: bicycle brand name

Does it have to be an original part? Most any parts on a bicycle are interchangable with other bikes.....good luck with it.

SOURCE: I have an old Roadmaster bicycle. Trying to find a database of serial numbers so I can find out more info about it and what it's value might be. I know my dad bought it for me sometime in the 1950's

There is no single database of bike serial numbers. Just Google "Roadmaster serial number." Nobody can do any better than that for you. You can also check my tip for info on determining value:

Bicycle serial number RK7 Who makes it

That's not a serial number, and it does not much matte what brand it is, especially because some overseas factories made the same frame for more than one brand. For more info see my tip:

Do you have any information on a white super chief bicycle model number 67158, serial number A1862509 sold by whites auto store?

The odds of finding someone with info are very low, but almost impossible on a general site such as Fixya. Google "antique and vintage bike forum," post pictures there. Even though you don't say so, you are probably interested in value, but even on such a site you will only be able to get some guesses.. See my tip for more info:

443433 Serial number, value, year made?

Impossible to ID most bikes by serial number alone, let alone assign a value without knowing condition, amount of original parts, etc. Do a little work yourself - Google "(brand/model) serial number" (without quotes) or at least tell us what kind of bike it is. See my tip:
How to determine the year value etc of your bicycle

F2P7D1359 is the serial number of my haro bike , id like to know what kind it is and maybe a average price range?

You already posted what kind it is in the previous question - "Haro bicycle F2 freestyle series." An average is a single number, a range is two numbers, so there's no such thing as an average range. Nobody here can give you info based on a serial number. I already gave you a way to research what year you have, but year is not terribly important for value. You can also try this site to look at specs for different years of the F2 in order to determine what year yours is: http://knowyourbike.com/haro/f2
Price depends on mechanical and physical condition, the size of your city/town, and the desirability of the particular bike, thus can vary by a huge amount, so an average price is useless. Research, decide on a price, advertise on Craigslist or bulletin boards, and if nobody bites then the price is too high.

Where do I find the serial number on a old la France bicycle made by Huffman mf co and when it was made

Serial numbers are typically under the bottom bracket (where the cranks go through the frame) or on the left rear dropout (where the hub axle is attached to the frame). A Huffman (Huffy) bike is not usually going to be terribly valuable, but the LaFrance model is quite old so may have some collectible value. Value will be dependent mainly on condition and amount of original parts. You will need to do your own research to get more info - just Google Huffman LaFrance and Huffman serial numbers.

Chrome Torpado serial number 428? Model? Year?

There is no good source for Torpado serial numbers, and serial numbers for many bikes are not useful. I would suggest a Google search for Chrome Torpado. Go to images and look for one with the same components (if yours is OEM), decals, color scheme. Then see what it says about what year it is or contact the person who posted the pic. There may also be date codes on some components on the bike (typically 4 digits) but you will have to do the research to find out what they mean.

Value of Schwinn bike #S4973TGA

Value is dependent on type of bike (esp. # of speeds), equipment level and mechanical/paint condition. Check Craigslist for similar bikes. Serial number is not helpful - need model of bike.

I HAVE A SCHWINN LOOKING FRAM THAT IS EXTENDED. I WANT TO KNOW WHO MADE IT THE VIN IS "PH10AH3787

Bikes do not have a VIN or any centralized serial number database. Each manufacturer maintains their own serial numbers. It is extremely difficult to ID a frame solely by serial number.
