Hello. You have two springs in carburetor and one in Magneto roto. No spark I pick the Magneto. For complete brake down illustration I suggest Sears parts on the web. Good luck & happy fishing.

SOURCE: trolling motor doesnt work?

Most trolling motors have in-line breakers, I would start there & see if one went bad, then check the wiring under the foot pedal for broken or corroded contacts, then you will have to trace wires & make sure everything is in order starting at the trolling motor plug.

I have a motorguide fw71 fb bow-mounted trolling motor which I believe is receiving a short somewhere. I have the batteries hooked up right with a 30amp breaker going to each and often when I troll on...

Using an ammeter check for current draw and compare that with specs to determine if your draw is excessive. If motor has ever overheated and some of the windings have had the insulation burn off you will have a motor with less resistance and it will draw more current since less back emf is being generated.. Under those circumstances it can overheat and also blow existing fuses. Should that be the case you are looking at shopping for a new motor.

I wonder if the clutch "basket" broke off an "ear"?...I hate to say it,..but you might be in for a tear down and rebuild. Start with the parts you can access, clean/fix/replace with motor still in bike..eg; clutch plates/basket, "properly" fix the kickstarter spring/gear unit,...try to find thae cause of the metal filings,..check the clutch basket..etc. GL. [re-post with what's going on].

I bought a 5 HP gamefisher outboard motor. It 's been use once and then it sit for years outside. I change the spark plug, clean the carburator, fuel filter looks good.good compression. gas go all a way to...

If spark plug is dry, fuel is not getting to the cylinders. Next thing to check would be the fuel pump... Gas may be getting to carb, but the pump needs to push it into the cylinders too.

Toyota hilux 3l motor overheating

Dont Laugh.. But Heres I I check'em: Open the radiator cap or coolant tank if radiator cap isnt applicable. Then sniff the coolant.. If It smell like gas vapors.. Then its Definitely a blown/cracked head or gasket..( usually a gasket ) They make test kits for that. But save ya money.. the nose is cheaper.. Thanx.. PS Make sure engine is cool when ya do this..
