SOURCE: Model C-60 Yamaha organ. Loud hissing sound

This is likely in the power amp or the drivers for it.

The key to troubleshooting is a schematic. Try to procure one.

You MIGHT try using circuit cooler in the area of the power amps to isolate a bad component or cracked circuit board.

Hi I have a Yamaha electrone el 15, there is no sound from the 2 keyboards but the percussion sounds all play and can get drum sounds on the bottom keyboard but no sounds when the organ is selected,

There could be a few reasons why your Yamaha Electone EL-15 isn't producing sound when the organ setting is selected. Here are a few things to check:
  1. Make sure the volume is turned up on the keyboard itself and on any external amplifiers or speakers you may be using.
  2. Check the connections between the keyboard and any external amplifiers or speakers. Make sure the cables are plugged in securely at both ends.
  3. Make sure the keyboard is in "organ" mode and not in "silent" or "play along" mode.
  4. Check the keyboard settings to ensure that the organ sounds are enabled.
  5. If you are using the keyboard with a computer, make sure the MIDI settings are correct and that the keyboard is being recognized by the computer.
  6. If you have tried all of the above and the keyboard still isn't producing sound, it is possible that there is an issue with the internal sound system. In this case, you may need to have the keyboard serviced by a professional technician.

Where can I buy a manual for electone HC2

Retrevo has a link to the manual for the Yamaha Electone HC-2 organ here: http://www.retrevo.com/search/v2/jsp/downloadPage.jsp?doc=42cf1723b6ae869802a215f20e1c7dc1&modelid=961462&q=Yamaha+HC-2 . You will need to enter a code to access the manual. You can check if Yamaha has copies for sale. You can also download the manual from the Yamaha downloads page: http://download.yamaha.com/top/?site=usa.yamaha.com&language=en . Just search for the HC-2.

I hope this helps.

I have a yamaha electone hs4, The foot pedals do not work.

JM: Your problem is this: There are rubber washerson the bolt that holds the pedal on. They are shot. Most likely Yamaha doesnot have the parts.Go to the plumbing dept of a hardware store and get some faucet washers and replace them. YYou can tell if the washers are shot by tiping over the organ and looking at the pivot bolt. Most likely that is yoiur problem. I am an organ tech. and have replaced many of these. DM

Yamaha Clavinova CLP 260

hi...
Your L/R jacks in the back need to connect to the "line-in" connector on your sound card.
I think the jacks on the Clav are 1/4 inch. Go to Radio shack and ask for an adapter that will take two 1/4 inch plugs/cable and convert it to a 1/8 inch stereo plug.
The Midi connects From (keyboard) To (soundcard)
Cables are available at any music store
