We had foundation repair with many cracks in our dry wall. Several places the tape has buckled. Can I reattach that tape or do I have to remove it and start over.

Foundation repair probably resulted in some building movement before, during or after the event, causing the cracks in the drywall and lifting the tape in places. It would be better to removed the tape and begin again...

How to hang a mirror without nails

Instructions
    • 1

Select a location to hang your mirror by holding it up on different areas of the wall. If possible, ask another person to hold the mirror while you stand on the other side of the room to judge the best spot for displaying it. Once you've decided on a spot, mark the wall lightly with a pencil along the top and bottom edges and/or corners of the mirror.

    • 2

Place a level against the wall horizontally at the top pencil marks and tilt it up and down slightly until the bubble centers inside the glass tube in the level.

    • 3

Draw a line lightly with your pencil along the edge of the level.

    • 4

Lay a thick towel or blanket on a flat work surface and place the mirror on top of it, reflective side down.

    • 5

Wipe the back of the mirror with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris sticking to the surface and wait 15 to 20 minutes for it to dry. In addition, wipe the wall down and wipe or air-dry it. If either surface has greasy or oily stains or other marks, wash the surfaces with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any residue, then wipe or air-dry.

    • 6

Affix strips of heavy-duty, double-sided, mirror-mounting tape to the back of the mirror along the sides, top and bottom.

    • 7

Remove the paper backing from the double-sided tape strips, align the top of your mirror with the pencil line on the wall and press the mirror firmly against the wall.

    • 8

      Erase any visible pencil marks.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you need to mount a heavy mirror without putting a hole in a wall, hire a professional mirror installer.

  • Never touch the adhesive surface with your fingers because you can transfer oil to the adhesive that can reduce its ability to bond to surfaces.

Kenmore Elite Heavy Duty Dryer 11063012101 Takes Forever to Dry

I think your vent has lint in the line between the wall and the outside of your house not allowing the moisture to get out

FIX

1 when the dryer is running go outside and observe the vent to see if hot air is coming out

2 Turn dryer off, disconnect electric from wall

3 pull dryer out from wall

4 take a nut driver or screw and remove the clamp that attaches the flex vent pipe to the wall

4 Also remove the flex pipe from the dryer

5 Inspect inside vent connection inside dryer for any trapped lint

6 inspect inside flex line for any lint

7 Look inside wall vent for lint you can also reach in with your hand to feel for lint

8 If you have a leaf blower or can borrow one(electric is best) from your neighbor put the snout of the blower into the vent going into the wall seal the area between the snout and the vent pipe at the wall ( i use duct tape you can use wash clothes rags etc

9 start blower and blow any lint in the line out through outside THIS WILL CLEAR THE LINT

10 Reattach the flex to the wall vent and dryer , plug in. run a load and you should be back in business

Good Luck
