Hello Zipmap0202,
I have never found that plastic dries very well in my Miele dishwasher as well.
Check your rinse aid indicator to see if it is on. Next to the soap door there is a door you can add rinse aid to. There is also a dispensing control knob that allows you to turn the amount of rinse aid dispensed up or down. Try changing the setting and see how that works. I have done this and it has not worked well for me. I find opening the door after the cycle is done (Just cracking) it will dry plastic alot better

My brada dishwasher always leaves water on plastic items....before it was OK. I always use the HEAT DRY fonction

This is a universal characteristic if using the 'energy saver' or other heatless drying cycle. Unless using a drying aid plastic items keep large drops of water on them which take much longer to dry.

Is there somebody having the drawings of the MIELE dishwasher G 1832 SC ? The door is locked in the drying position and the user's manual is useless in this situation. Thanks a lot

If you disassembly the front face, at the left hand side of the control panel, you'll find a small plastic bag with a typical schematic/wiring manual of the dishwasher "G 1832 SCi"

Is this normal for Miele dishwasher? - some water left below filter and not everything dry after cycle

Plastic items do not get dry because they do not get as hot as glassware. A lot of moisture inside is do to the evaporation of water on the dishes during the dry cycle. Some water remains in the dishwasher because it is impossible to pump all of it out. There is nothing wrong with your dishwasher.

When attempting to start dishwasher load the signal F 70 come up and it wont work. Purchased 2nd Jan 2008.

F70, waterproof system activated. this means you have water in the bottom pan of the dishwasher. your miele shuts itself off and runs the drain pump continuously any time water leaking is detected. you can pull out the black plastic toe kick under the door. there is a cover panel in the center held on with two t20 screws. you can dry up the water and try to run a cycle. if it works ok, cut back on your detergent by 1/2. if it leaks again, you should probably request service from miele. if you want to try to repair it yourself, let me know and I will help you troubleshoot it further.

Miele G 880 SC -- dishes not drying

Hi,

Make sure you are using rinse aid. even if you are using tablets which has rinse aid built into the tablets Miele still recommend using rinse aid liquid as well.
Make sure you have the rinse aid setting on 3ml

Plastic will not dry as well as plates as it doesn't hold the heat.

You could call out a Miele service tech if it is still under warranty and he would be able to increase the drying time through his computer.

Hope this helps.

Dishwasher is not drying properly and is out of warranty. Saw a post that LG has a free retrofit to fix problem but customer service denies. Is there a recall on the LDS5811ww?

No recall.
You should use water temp 120 to 150 F, and make sure you use rinse aid (such as Jet Dry). Plastic items (like cheap advertising cups or storage containers) do not have enough mass to retain heat and dry very well. Item with more mass (glass and metal items) will dry as long as you conform to listed perameters listed above.

Once the cycle is complete (rinse, drying, end) the dishes are clean but not dry.

#1 plastic dishes cups etc will rarely completely dry
check your heater, check for continuity on the heater it should ohm out.
does the heater get hot?
are you running hot water at the sink before pushing the start button?
are you using a rinse agent such as jet dry?
