SOURCE: drill chuck swap

1. Turn the screw clockwise to take it out.
2. Then you needs 3/8 allen key & insert the short side of the allen key & tighten the chuck.
3. hold the drill at the edge of the table & wack the allen key
counter clockwise & do it again as needed.
4. dewalt keyless chuck will fit but you might add a washer to insure the chuck is not rubbing the clutch collar.
5. putting it back together the other way.

SOURCE: The tires are flat

You need to purchase an adapter which pushes onto the valve (so it doesn't depress the valve stem) and the other end is a standard screw fix to a bicycle pump.

Any good bicycle store stocks them.

The valve you are desrcibing is pretty standard on racing type bicycles.

Good luck and let me know how you get on.

SOURCE: I need to replace the bent shaft that the chuck screws onto

I would go direct to Dremel.com or call them at 1-800-437-3635 and get the schematic and parts you need, I just checked and they have a parts diagram online that you can view. go to the section about manuals/literature and type in your model number. Good luck

SOURCE: Chuck broke on Skil hammer drill

As long as the new chuck threads onto the old spindle then any chuck will work fine.

Can u put air in a tire with this type of compressor - the husky easy air air compressor 1.5 gallon y1000

Yes, you will need a tire chuck to add air in the tire. And don't over fill the tire, okay?

I have 89' jeep cherokee went to check air filter and found alot of oil in breather box thought i had bad pcv valve but autozone says doesnt have one 4.0 litre throtle body fuel injection

The solution is to remove the grommet on the valve cover (for the small line) and replace it with a grommet for a 1985 CJ7 along with the PCV valve for the CJ7. Prior to replacing the grommet, you must bend a metal tang inside the valve cover using a screwdriver. This tang is what forms the "spring" in the built in CCV valve. Bending it up, opens the valve all the way permanently.

Next, take a 3/8 inch quick connect air chuck (the kind you screw into a blow-gun or tire chuck for use on an air compressor equipped with quick connect fittings) and replace the screw in nipple on the manifold (where the original tube attaches) with the air chuck. The chuck is an exact fit (threading and length)but has a much larger internal diameter for the crankcase gases to flow. Finally run a section of 3/8 inch fuel line from the newly installed PCV valve to the new air chuck nipple you screwed into the intake manifold. Attach a hose clap at each end of the fuel line and you're done.

I have a porter cable 6 gal pancake 135 psi compressor. How can I change the cut off and cut on pressure. I've been trying to add air to my car tires and it will not fill the tire all the way up. I was...

where the plug in goes into the pressure switch you can take the cap off and you will see the electrical points and on the inside of the plastic cap it will you show you the two screws to adjust there. one screw will be to raise or lower the min and max pressure equally and the other is to adjust the differential between them. But make sure not to exceed recommended pressure of the compressor or you will blow safety valves, the safety valve will say what pressure it will go off at

I just put a new air chuck on my compressor because my old one was not letting air flow when I put it on the valve of a tire. Now, the same is happening with the new one. When I push the little actuator...

It's most likely the valve core. Sometimes they get jammed up, especially if you put a brass valve core in a stem that's attached to a TPMS sensor. If the stem doesn't have a sensor in it, then you can remedy this problem fairly cheap (my shop charges $1 for just the stem, but $6 to have it put in). If it is a TPMS stem, then you'll probably have to replace the sensor (last one we had to replace cost $156).

Hope that helps!

The chuck froze. The drill was used one time and stored in the shop. Unusually damp air caused the chuck to freeze up. I broke it trying to free it up. I need to buy a new chuck. Where can I buy parts.

chucks are interchangeable through the center of the chuck is a screw usually reverse threaded remove it and bring it to your local hardware store they should be able to get you one,if they don't carry it already. i have purchased some through True Value hardware stores.

Gauge says tank at 120 lbs of pressure, but won't fill tires

sounds like you have a bad batch of schrader vales on your tires OR

you have a defective chuck end that is not milled properly to push the schrader valve and let the air into the tire stem

How do you put air in the back tire without taking the whole back tire off? Or is that the only way?

I just did this a couple hours ago. taking off back tire will not help you. The rotor is attached to the wheel itself. You need to line up the hole in the rotor with the valve stem. You will need to have a screw on extension to valve stem ( I got lucky and had one). Screw the extension onto the valve stem then use air compressor to air up the tire.
