Sorry they are not compatible. Home Depot or Lowe's sell Genie remotes, they are not expensive.

Testimonial: "I don't understand why it would not be compatible when I can use a Chamberlin remote without any issues. Thank you for your response. I do appreciate it."

SOURCE: Trying to clear the codes from my Garage Door

In most cases, when a garage door opens or closes by itself, or when you find your door open, upon returning home, the problem is due to a short somewhere. This short is most likely to be in one of two places: either in one of your transmitters or in the wall button or its wiring.
When there is a short in your garage door transmitter, you will often find the garage door is up upon returning home, even though you know you closed the door when you left the house. A short in your transmitter causes a continues signal to be sent. As you are pulling out of the driveway the garage door closes fully and appears to stop, but as the carriage and arm run past the down limit and hits the header bracket it reverses, and the door begins to open, just as you start driving off down the road. You come home to find the garage door is up, as if someone else had opened your door. The best thing to do to troubleshoot the garage door problem is remove the batteries from your transmitters and try operating the door from the wall button. If the problem is intermittent, you may want to do this for a day or two to eliminate the transmitters as the culprit.
If the problem persists, try removing the wall button wire at the motor head to ensure it is not a short in the wire to the button, then try operating the garage door with the transmitters only. If it stops the problem, replace the wires and test the wall button. It is a process of elimination.

SOURCE: programming my keyless entry

Yes, you purchased the wrong wireless. You must get a Genie keyless and there are two types of Genie keyless (GWKP & GWK-BL) depending on which Genie operator you have. You might think about a wired keyless entry (Domino GD-1). Then if you change your operator you don't have to change your keyless.

Does it work from wall button? Hit learn button for 10 seconds. Hit again for 1 second and code keypad.Opener lights should blink 2x. Hit learn again for a second and hit button on a remote (Any button you chose). Again, lights should blink. Now should work. Repeat for any other remotes.

I have a Lift Master wireless touch pad but a Chamberlain garage door opener. How Do I change the frequency so the touch pad works?

You can't change the frequency but you can try programming.

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

If this doesn't work then the keypad is bad or it is not the proper model for your opener.

I was looking on the genie web site on how to change my pin on the key pad. Evidently it wasn't the same key pad. Now my key pad doesn't work at all. How can i fix and do the or original job I started out...

There are many outside keypads and all are different to program. If you go to genie.com or overheaddoor.com(owns genie) there will be a helpline number that will walk you through this. Thanks BB

Two codes open door

You must hold that red button in for 6 seconds to erase the memory. Just remember you will have to program your hand remotes plus the wireless keypad.
