The batteries are connected directly to the starting circuit of the inverter. If u don’t want it consume any power from the battery I would recommend an isolater switch between the battery and inverter.

Have you tried removing the batteries for a minute and unplugging the main unit for the same amount of time together. The idea is to fully clear any settings that might have gotten hung up.
If you meant for the mains supply then it must be connected in series to the load so that in absence of power the invertor takes over and when there is power the supply takes over as it charges the battery.
So have this wiring done with the connection routed from the fuse box or main board.
Hi , i'm sorry but i dont really understand your question , assuming the current draw is around 45 amps then 2 /0 GA is fine , just keep your leads from your panel nice and short , the connection kits are sold by sunforce and there plenty of suitable connectors on the market example link below http://www.globalepower.com/Datasheets/BatteryConnectors/BatteryGlobal.pdf
Mixing different AH rated batteries, different ages of even the same type battery is a bad idea. The new batteries will be effectively reduced to the equivalent of your worst battery.
What wattage is the fridge Youy cant compare volts and amps withy watts. If the fridge draws 2000 watts it wiull do the job but struggle as 2500 is the peak wattage and averages out at about 2000-2200 look at the back of the fridge. Just hope its about 15-1800 for effiecient cooling without strain on power source
There are 8 40A fuses inside this unit. In the following pics you will see a bank of 4 and another bank with 3 of the 4 removed. I'm currently working on mine as it will cost me more to ship and have Cobra repair than I paid for the unit ($133 to repair). Good luck with your problem
