Here`s a tip i found for you...
1. Connect the frame to your PC using the supplied USB connector.
Navigate to the \DCIM\100Frame directory and delete all the Phillips
advertising pictures there.
2. Create a directory on your PC and put copies of all the pictures you want to display there.
3. Download the free picture resizer utility from Microsoft at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
(Look
for Image Resizer in the right column). After installing it, "Select
All" pictures in the directory you created, then right click and select
"Resize Pictures" from the context menu. Choose the 640x400 radio
button. Sort by size and copy all the small ones into the
"\DCIM\100Frame" directory on the frame drive (Called Removable Disk on
my PC).

It depends on how big the existing pictures are. It has a 14MB internal memory, but it says about 12MB for storage. You can buy memory card to insert into the frame but it will not display internal memory once you insert a new memory card. If you bought a 512MB card, you could put hundreds to thousands of pictures in JPG format. You can hook the frame to your computer or directly to a digital camera. From the computer it takes a few seconds to convert the pictures. The frame will show up on your PC as a mass storage device and you will be able to delete photos as well.
I hope this helps

I see that's its been over a year since you've posted your question. But you need to be in postcard mode for the camera to allow you to choose the date stamp option.

To remove a picture, connect the frame to your PC via USB. you should see the frame appear as a drive, in my case,
36972 (E:)
open the drive as Explore, you can now see the pictures, and delete what you no longer want.
you can download the software from
