You can purchase a package of calibration sheets from the Ambir site: https://www.ambir.com/product-category/scanner-accessories/page/2/ . You can use a plain white sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" paper as a temporary calibration sheet. The image quality won't be as good but it will work.

My Ambir ImageScan Pro 820i will start scanning then stop half way and say "scan (not responding)" then error message "generic error"
To help you troubleshoot the issue about unable to scan the document 100%, please follow the steps given below:
- First of all check whether power connection and cable connection to the scanner are correctly connected and it must not be loosen from any end.
- Check if there are any updates available for scanner software to be installed. If yes, then install the updates and restart the computer and scanner once for ready to scan.
