A manual is what you need to unlock and reprogram the schedule. Keep off the set up steps for the thermostat, only the scheduling and security steps.

Take note of current settings before changing to a new setting, to revert, back step.

If google and manufacturer website are of no help then ask a search agency like http://manualfox.com - They do a great job.
The service is not for free, but often worthy (you only pay if they find what you are asking for).

My Honeywell pro series thermostat has a caution flag on the display. What does that mean?

Do you mean the alert flag (a triangle with an exclamation inside it) or a different symbol? The Alert flag will appear with another message on the screen. If it is time to replace the battery, you'll also see "BATT" to the left of the flag and a low battery icon somewhere along the top of the LCD screen. If the thermostat is set to alert you to change the HVAC system filter regularly, you'll see "REPL" to the left of the alert flag.

This is from the T4 Pro thermostat manual on pages 6 and 7. See https://forwardthinking.honeywellhome.com/assets/tseries/resources/install/T4%20Pro%20User%20Guide%20-%2033-00188EFS.pdf . The T6 Pro uses the same alert behavior.

I hope this helps.

Heat pump with Honeywell T6 Pro thermostat. It's programmed for 69 during day and 65 at night. But the Adaptive Intelligent Recovery causes the house to heat up about 90 minutes too early. Options

For the T6 Pro model, I found the installation manual; search for 33-00181.pdf. I pressed Menu and + for 3 seconds to get into Advanced Mode; then Select to enter ISU ("Installer Setup"); then Select several times to get to option 425 (Adaptive Intelligent Recovery). I then pressed "-" to make the setting zero (OFF); then pressed HOME to save the setting.

I have my new Honeywell Pro series thermostat running on the "schedule" I set. But now I want to leave town and set it on PERMANENT HOLD at a lower temp. I cannot find a HOLD button anywhere.

you must enter the installer setup by pressing the center button and the + button simultaneously for three seconds. press select on ISU. Option 120 is the programming selector. 0 is no programming meaning you would be OFF your schedule. Take note of what it is now, you will have to do the same thing over again and change it back when you return. You can find all this info in the manual, best wishes.

Permanent hold message on thermostat

press run program.... from there, set the schedule for maximum efficiency. permanent hold only shows up after the hold button has been pressed 2-3 times. If this does not fix the issue, there is a master reset button on the thermostat that will set all settings back to factory default.

Honeywell VisionPro TH8000 touch screen will not allow changes to the schedule. Screen is unlocked and not in cleaning mode

In the set up mode are you sure the lock was not turned on. The set up mode has a different book for the installer. Do you have the book if not check with Honeywell or let me know.
