SOURCE: how do you wire the old lincoln 225 ac welder

What are you wiring? Power Cord? Fan? Transformer? You should see a white wiring block in the lower right corner if you are looking from the back. On the two top post the black and white wires are attached. The green ground wire is attached to the case. On the two bottom poles the fan lines attach one on each side and the transformer wires that are coming up from the transformer are attached on the same poles as the fan wires.

Lincoln electric ac/dc arc welder will not arc

Check the dial indicator. Sometimes if someone changes the amps while welding, there will be a break in the coil. It will work at a different setting as long as you are away from the break.

Coming out of the breaker box going to the welder plug what size wire should i use to run a lincoln 225 welder

It depends on how far away you are going to be away from the breaker box, using a #2 wire should be fine for your welder.

Whats making the fan on my welder not work

The fan motor has probably burnt out, i see this alot...make sure the connections are good....you can try putting 120v to it directly, if it doesnt run you need a new one...if it does then you need to check all your connections

Need the diagram for an old welder, ac/dc 125/225 need to find out how to hook the fan up

Usually the fan if it is, 112/225V. It simply connects across the Line, Phase to neutral, but AFTER the mains switch. So that it is "On" only after the Power has been switched on.
