Red standby is lit but when I turn it on,lite goes out and back on.I tried 100 times.

A job for the technician on this one. I have only worked on several flat screen before, on my last days as an electronic technicians. Half of the ones I worked on was the power supply inside ir the problem was like this. Instruction on how to fix them would require me to write many pages on electronic theory so, I am very sorry It is almost impossible for me to help you on that. Be carefull where you take that tv to. some shop can't fix those. You may have to search your local area for someone who specialize in flat sreen HDTV. Ur power board have dead capacitors.U Know how to solders?Take the tv aparts,check these capacitors in the power board for dead capcitors like puff up or burst open.Replaced these capacitors to get power back.Or buy and replaced the whole reburbish power board at Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com.

Check to see if you get Va and Vs voltages from the power supply. There should be some wires running to the y-sus. A couple of those wires will be labeled va and vs. Are they present? There will be a sticker stuck to the panel somewhere telling you what they should be.
