The battery is been hold by a kind of ring, don't want to pry hard, any suggestions please.

The answer still isn't very clear. Mine is a 3504 (WV-58A). I basically broke off the plastic retainer on mine (I heard it fly out). I went ahead and replaced the battery anyway, then held the battery cover down while I replaced the back and put the screws back in. It's still working, 10 minutes later. Oh well, it's a $28 watch from Wal-Mart. A pretty poor design if you ask me. Why not just use a screw (like the ones on the cover) to hold the battery cover down?
Okay, now after thinking about it, I think I understand how it works. There's a notch in the black plasttic retainter, and you want to put the pin in that notch, then move the pin so that you push out from that notch, The battery goes down in a square "U" shape, under the black retainer. The object is to push the bottom of the "U" forward, out from under the black retainer, so that it disengages. Then when you replace the battery, puching the cover down causes it to snap back under the retainer.

As far as removing the clip that covers the battery on the Waveceptor 2735, I found that even my smallest screwdriver was too big but a pin from my wife's sewing machine worked well. I poked it down on the right side of the clip in the small hole then pulled gently to the left using the pin as a lever until the battery popped up. I touched the battery and the little circle with a (-) on it for two seconds and it worked well.
The strap that goes across the battery is hooked down the side of the battery. You need to get a small thin standard screwdriver ( the kind you use for tiny screws) and go down the side of the battery, insert screwdriver where strap is hook, pull away from battery and it should unhook. This watch the battery has to be short circuited by taking tweezers and touching the AC & the battery for 2 secs hope this is helpful. galrygal

The bracket has a square clip hanging downwards. You want to stick the pin in close to and angling towards the battery so that you get the pin inside the clip, then gently pry so that the bottom of the pin pulls the clip away from the battery.
To reiterate, the bracket is all one piece of metal with a 90 degree clip hanging down the side. It's that 90 degree clip that you want to pry the bottom outwards.

Another thank you - to RonA, this time. The clip does indeed come out, so does the battery. For $4 I have a working watch for another 10 years.
I was trying to lift up the wrong side of the clip ... It actually does "just pop up" when you stick a pin or screwdriver down the correct side. If it seems to hard ... try the other side!

I've changed many watch batteries and this one did cause me a little problem. I tried the jewelers screwdriver and a paper clip as i didn't have a pin. That didn't pop it loose. I ended up just taking my thumb and pressing down on the clip towards the green part and the clip came right up. It didn't even require much pressure and no tools. Hope that helps.
