You cannot, unless you have the Screamin Eagle Race Tuner (SERT) or you take it to the dealer (at about $80/hr.) Sorry I don't have better news, hope this helps.

To adjust the clutch, first find the clutch cable adjuster. It should be somewhere along the downtube of the frame in front of the engine. Slide the rubber bellows cover either up or down to expose the adjuster. Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjuster inwards shortening the cable as much as possible.

Remove the Derby cover from the primary cover. In the middle of the clutch assembly is an adjuster bolt and a lock nut. Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjust inwards until you feel a resistance. Don't not force the adjuster, go inwards until you feel the resistance of the throwout bearing on the other side. Try it a couple of times until you get the feel of it. Go inwards until you feel the resistance and then come back out 1/2 to 1 full turn. Lock the lock nut down and replace the derby cover.

Then go back to the cable aduster and and adjust the cable adjuster out until you have about an 1/8" freeplay at the lever. Lock that lock nut down and reposition the bellows cover.

Good Luck
Steve

2001 status 3.0 wont start have fuel no spark relaced cam and crank sensors

There is an ignition power transistor. I am guessing you checked all the fuses. Running bad and now not running is what has me stumped if it is the transistor because they go there is no in between that I know of but that would be the first I would check because of not having spark. The last 2 pictures are wiring diagrams for the ignition system which you said you didn't have as well as the connector views. If they are to small email me directly at [email protected] with all your information and I will be happy to send you a larger picture. Fixya has a file size limit for pictures so this was the best I could do and no there wouldn't be a cost for it. Hope this helps....

This is the test for the primary coil and transistor continuity check:

Ignition parts

My info showed coil on plug ignition. You have eight spark plugs and 8 coils, correct? Did you visually check for spark at the plugs? As you can see in diagram, the top wires are voltage, the bottom wires are ground.
