Physically unplug power from the unit for a minute or two.
Connect power cord to unit and Simultaneously Press & Hold
both the [STOP] and Channel UP [^] for 5 seconds. This will
force Eject the DVD tray. Remove any disc if present.
Cycle the power again if necessary and wait for the unit to
go through its self check cycle. If after several attempts, and
you continue to get this error, then your Ram drive may need
to be replaced.

Tienes que comprobar que el condensador C1801 no se haya hinchado o tenga fugas. Si es así, comprueba tambiñen que el IC1801 no haya rebentado, usa una lupa. Cambia el condensador y el circuito integrado si ha rebentado. Normalmente con cambiar el condensador se soluciona el problema. El condensador está en la placa principal, justo debajo de la placa digital, la que tiene los cables planos que van a la unidad dvd. Espero que te sea de ayuda.

Usually it's only C1801 leaky, replace it and thats it.

This is a well known fault with Panasonic DVD players. If you search ebay you will find a repair kit containing 2 capacitors and an IC.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/U81-error-cod...
If you are able to solder you can do this yourself. Its a bit fiddly but I can confirm it works because I did it 2 years ago.
