I can't see LCD screen on my camera when I'm outside

Look under settings and turn up the brightness. Being a camera it probably has no way of adjusting to the bright light outdoors. I think only newer "sports" models would even be able to do so. Crank it to maximum. It still may be hard to see.

My photos are far too bright and look almost white. I have tried adjusting the brightness, but it does not make a difference.

Turn down the ISO setting and lower the "exposure compensation" setting until you get satisfactory pics.

Try and use the SCN. Mode.

Bright light is never recommended for any pics.

Contact KODAK they might have more ideas or can arrange a repair for you if needed.

The flash on my CX7430 is too bright, the pics are too bright. This just started happening. Any clues?

Pls. adjust the ISO.

Use the nite SCN. (The feature often avoids the use of flash)

Swich the flash off. When doing this remember to hold the camera very still when taking the pics.

I need to replace lcd sdreen from kodak C340

I have some used lcd's(Kharkov,Ukraine) at working condition.Note:the display in this model factory have calibrated brightness & contrast settings.So if you replace display from other camera the brightness may be higher\lower than you used to.Manually adjust this settings is impossible.

Can't see subject in bright light

Unfortunately, LCDs are reflective. Usually, there is a way in the camera menu to adjust LCD brightness - try to set it higher. You can also try to cover direct sunlight with your hands while shooting - not always easy to do...
