You might be able to adjust the glides. An easier way would be to make the cabinet tilt slightly rearward by shimming the front of the cabinet at the bottom.

SOURCE: bottom drawer does not properly close

Okay, I fixed it for now. The design for this bottom freezer drawer is not good. What happened was most likely that my son slammed the door, and it bounced and was slightly open. Overnight, ice started to form all over the compartment, including inside the drawer guides. Some ice was probably obstructing the drawer glide from sliding shut.

What I did, not thinking this was the solution, was to prop chairs against the drawer to close it while I searched for answers on the Internet. In the meantime, some of this ice must have refrozen in the closed position (due to the weight of the chairs). When I went to check it later, I had a little trouble opening the drawer. I gave it a hard yank and some small frost flew off, as I opened the drawer.

It was not easy sliding it due to the frost. I then moved it out and in until it felt smooth, and finally closed the drawer and it stayed in the shut position.

Kids are instructed to close the drawer gently and visually check that it is sealed. There is also an air passage between the refrigerator unit and the freezer so that when you close the double french doors, some air pushed to the freezer section and momentarily pops the drawer open. You should make sure that the drawer closes before leaving the kitchen. If you are on vacation, prop chairs to make sure both the freezer drawer and the french doors stay closed. This is important if you're in an earthquake area as a small tremor could open the doors and you'll get a fire when the lights stay on and burn through the wiring (as others have noted).

How do you remove drawers from craftsman 26" quiet glide middle tool chest?

My Craftsman rolling tool chest has bearing glides. Open the drawer all the way and look at the drawer glides. One each side there is a small black lever to release the drawer from the glides. One will move upward and one downward by pushing on the beveled side and pull the drawer out.

Need to remove drawers in Homak tool cabinet

There should be slots in the sides of the drawer slides. Insert a screw driver in the slots and push the tabs in and pull the drawer out that way. To reinstall the drawer just hold the drawer slide and push the drawer past the tabs.

How do i get drawer off, trying to dry machine out, but can't work out what tabs to press to get drawer off

Ok, This is pretty easy after the first time. With the drawer completely opened, on the bottom of the drawer on each side, slide your index finger along the glide, clear to the front of the drawer. Directly behind the front panel you will find the tab you are looking for. Push this tab in while forcing the glide back towards the dish washer body with your thumb. Be careful when pushing back or you may leave a little hide form the thumb knuckle. I have this same dish washer and tried these directions on my wife. I guess I forgot to mention to do one side at a time.!! After both rails or glides have been pushed back you may gently lift the drawer out for repairs or drying. The bottom drawer may set on the floor but the top drawer will need to be set on a bucket or a box. Also, you don't want to pull out the wire harness or the harness holder which retracts the wiring as the drawer goes in and out.

Top drawer of 2 drawer f and p dishwasher was very hard to slide open and have to really push hard to close, like something is binding

Hi,aside from any obstruction is thet DishDrawer® square and level?. Is the DishDrawer® fastened securely to the cabinetry to prevent flex or movement? If not, the square geometry this appliance requires with affect drawer performance when opening and closing.
This is the most common cause for your problem. I'm not 100% sure, but it is something to take into consideration. Just a thought.

Fisher paykel drawer dishwasher is stuck open and will not close

Hey I dont know if you have this problem, but with mine the gasket seemed to be blocking the opening, so you could close it, but you had to shove a lot. The FP help line said to just unplug and replug in the unit. I did it and lo and behold it worked fine again. It did seem to leak a little bit the first time I reran it, but that seems to have gone away. Hope this helps

The top drawer of my Fisher Paykel two drawer dishwasher will not close all the way. Something appears to be stopping it. How do I fix it?

To find out what might be blocking it, you can remove the drawer. There are two tabs one on each side of the drawer near the bottom front. Push those in and pull the drawer out. You can lift the drawer up and push the slides in to get them out of the way. Then you should be able to see into the cabinet and what if anything is stuck behind the drawer
