Help i have an acer aspire 3680 i turned it on and no windows show uponly box saying:install windows windows not found it only gived me option to restart computer to install windows when i do that the same thing occurs over and over again!!help!!!!!!!!

1.
When the Press any key to boot from CD message is displayed on your screen,
press a key to start your computer from the Windows XP CD.

2.
Press ENTER when you see the message To setup Windows XP now, and then
press ENTER displayed on the Welcome to Setup screen.

3.
Do not choose the option to press R to use the Recovery Console.

4.
In the Windows XP Licensing Agreement, press F8 to agree to the license
agreement.

5.
Make sure that your current installation of Windows XP is selected in the
box, and then press R to repair Windows XP.

6.
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete Setup.

Download it from there website since it will have the latest version. First go into add/remove programs and uninstall the emanagement software from there the reboot the laptop.

Then go to this link courtesy of Acer:

Then click on Notebook, Aspire, then Aspire 3680. It will then bring up a box that shows you drivers for the laptop. Click on the tab that says Applications. Look for where it says Epower in the list and download the epower management application.

After your done downloading it, run the program and install it on your computer and see what happens, if it wants you to do a reboot then go ahead. Let me know how it turns out.

you will need to install the wireless drivers for your system.

could be that your acer aspire 3680 actually doesn't have bluetooth. they use a standard case for most of there laptops. it has the button for bluetooth but it doesn't have the actual bluetooth card or required hardware.

you can download the driver (webcam) from www.acerpanam.com

FYI, if you can't find the driver under AS 3680, try AS 5570 or AS 5570z

Make sure your laptop is fully up-to-date from windows update and see if that fixes it.

Hit Shift and F11 to do a restore

Contact Acer and they can send you the disk that came with that computer. Then you can run some commands. Let me know when you get the disk.

Have you tried safe mode by hitting the f8 key at start up?

you said u did try to press F2 or F8 to get to bios setting, are you saying pressing these would not open bios setting windows?
