I have a Fitmax smart watch and I ordered a charger for it and am clueless how to use it- no directions

Let's guess it is a Smart Watch? because you say it has a charger. There is a battery, but it is sealed inside. Makers say they are not replaceable by the home consumer and have to go away for servicing.

There is some question whether the watch itself is yet available much less the charger. TGW says it is no longer available but Walmart declares it is selling it. Callaway licenses their name to it but is not the manufacturer. I don't know if chargers for the rangefinders are compatible with the watch. You might ask Callaway support. I'm assuming it's a Gen 3 watch.
These are renowned for this issue, the heat from the charging process softens the glue to such an extent the back detaches.
But the watch is still in warranty, so contact Fossil for a no-charge repair.

i would advise you to contact Fossil directly.

many smart watches allow for burning of calories whilst you are doing nothing , not heard of them being incorrect on steps.
possibly the timings are wrong.
your phones on AM. and the watch is set on PM.

If you order the pebble smart watch from their site, it says it will cost you $25 to ship overnite.

I have the same issue. I read and watched online tutorials about the compositors but after opening the set up I was unable to find any that had gone bad. I was able to upgrade the software by using a USB thumb drive but the issues are still there. I'm thinking of swapping out the motherboard and/or the power board next to see what the fix is.
