SOURCE: descaling

I had this happen once and had to put it through the descale process again. Just put more water in the tank, try it again and see what happens.

SOURCE: Saeco Odea Giro descaling problem

Ok first check if the machine is in greenlight state when you press and hold the water button, as it will not work when the red exclamation mark blinking.

also check if the button work at all flipping back and forth to hot water and steam.
I have never had this problem that it dident work.
But remember this, you dont have to do the descaling again as that has nothing to do with the reset.
You can even reset the descaling alarm with out having done the descaling.

If that for some reason wouldent work I would think its the CPU card is not working.

SOURCE: descaling

(Button 26 is the right-most one (2 intersecting
ovals.)
From the Manual:
Press the button (26) for at least 5 seconds to
select the descaling operating mode; the LED
emits a fixed light.
• Direct the steam nozzle (14) toward the drip
tray.
• Position a vessel of adequate capacity under
the steam nozzle and turn the hot water knob
anticlockwise (16). The appliance starts an
automatic descaling cycle with pauses preset
by the manufacturer and managed
automatically by the appliance.
• At the end of the cycle, the flow of the
descaling solution is shut off and the 5 buttons
start flashing simultaneously.
• Turn the knob of the hot water nozzle (16)
clockwise to OFF. In this case, also the warning
light (27) flashes.
• Rinse the water tank and fill it with fresh
drinking water.
• Position a vessel of adequate capacity under
the steam nozzle and empty 2/3 of the
contents of the water tank by turning the steam
knob (16) anticlockwise; to shut off the flow,
turn the knob (16) clockwise.
• Let the appliance heat up and empty the
remaining contents of the water tank by turning
the steam knob (16) anticlockwise; to stop the
flow, turn it clockwise.

SOURCE: Descale red light, wont go off, and can i use any delcale tabs

Solution: Just refill the water tank with water (no descaling solution) all the way to the "Max Line". Then run the full descaling program again --takes approx. 20 minutes. After the program runs completely you will get the yellow "standby" light on and the red "descaling" light will be off.

Next time you descale, be sure and fill your water tank to the "Max Line" before running the descaling program.
Hint: An incomplete cycle (not full tank) is what makes the red light stay on. In other words, it's staying red to tell you to run a full cycle (beginning with the water tank filled to the "Max Line"). Hope this tip is helpful!

SOURCE: Saeco Talea Giro Plus, descaling

Try doing another rinse cycle until water tank empties. I had to do that a couple of times, then the red exclamation mark came on. Then I turned knob to off position, refilled water tank, pressed the descale button for 6 seconds, green light came back on and it did its priming.

I have descaled my machine Delonghi Nespresso Lattissima touch but my 2 lights on the right hand side of the machine will not stop flashing so no milk comes out. how do i fix?

Not clear if loss of steam to milk dispenser or milk dispenser itself clogged.

Try descaling again. Try running the vinegar through tbe machine about 1/2. Then stop tbe machine and allow additional time for the vinegar to work.

Also run a clean cycle using vinegar.

Also try disassembling the milk dispenser and clean manually.

Hi my Caffitaly S22 coffee machine is not working the red and descale buttons are flashing on and off, the other buttons won't do anything. I have tried resetting but it doesn't beep. thanks

That means you are still in the middle of the descaling cycle. You have to finish it first. You will not be able to do anything else until you finish the descaling cycle. Make sure the Desaling Coupling is still fitted to the Milk Jug Fitting (look on the manual Descaling instructions step 6). Jump to step 15, Rinse the water tank and fill it with exactly 500ml. Using excess water during this step may cause an error so try to make sure it is very close to or exact 500ml. Place a container under the coffee dispensing spout and the milk jug without cover under descaling coupling. Now press the Dubble Espresso button. The water will run, it is important to wait until the water runs until the tank is empty and it will stop by itself. Don't panic when there is no water coming out and it makes a little noise and don't press any button. Wait until it stops by itself. Then follow from step 19 to the end.

How do i descale my tassimo

How are you this lovely night
I assume the descaling prosess is similar from machine to machine
Your pour the descaling liquid/put tablet in the watertank then fill it with water. No coffee in machine. then you empty the coffee tabletcontainer.
Find a jug that takes about a one liter and put the steam spout over the jug.
Your manual tells you how many knobs are to be clicked.before you can start the machine,
Start the machine it will work and rest for an hour. Your jug should be full of water, empty it -watch out it is hot.'
Run itat least once with clean water.
If you have lost your manual you can go online and find MANUALSONLINE.COM.You might well finde yours there.
good luck

The descaling light stays on even though I have gone thru the process of descaling.

You are not completing the descale program. See below.

10.3 DESCALING
Due to the continuous heating of the water used to make the coffee, over
time it is normal for the tubing inside the machine to fill with lime scale.
When the light starts flashing( chap. 12-point 5), it is time to descale
the machine.
NOTE: when the light switches on, the coffee maker can still be used to
prepare coffee.
Proceed as follows:
• Empty the tank and pour in the contents of one bottle (125 ml) of
DURGOL descaler plus one liter of water. For subsequent descaling
operations, descaling solution can be purchased from authorised
technical service centres.
NB: Make sure splashes of descaler do not fall onto surfaces sensitive
to acid such as marble, limestone and glaze.
• place a container with a minimum capacity of 1.5 litres under
the milk frother (Fig. 3);
• turn the machine on by pressing the button (Fig. 4).
• wait for the green and indicator lights to come on steady.
• press and hold the button for at least 5 seconds (Fig.14). The
light inside the button switches on (chap. 11 - point 8) to indicate
the start of the descaling program (the and lights remain
off to indicate that it is not possible to make coffee).
• turn the steam knob half a turn anticlockwise (Fig.5). The
descaling solution will come out of the milk frother and start to
fill the container underneath.
• the descaling program automatically performs a series of deliveries
and pauses, so as to remove the lime scale deposits from
inside the coffee maker.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• after around 30 minutes, when the light comes on (chap. 12 - GB
point 1), turn the steam knob half a turn clockwise (Fig.6) until it
stops.
The machine must be rinsed so as to eliminate the residues of descaling
solution from inside the machine. Proceed as follows:
• remove the water tank, rinse it and fill it with clean water.
• reposition the tank.
• empty the collection container (located under the milk frother) that is
full of liquid, and then replace it under the milk frother.
• turn the steam knob half a turn anticlockwise (Fig. 5). Hot water will
come out of the milk frother and fill the container underneath.
• when the tank is empty, the light goes off and the light
comes on (chap. 12 - point 1).
• turn the steam knob all the way clockwise (Fig. 6) and fill the water
tank with clean water again.
• the program of descaling is hour terminated and the machine is
ready per do again the coffee.

NOTE: if the descaling procedure is stopped before completion, the
alarm (chap. 12 - point 5) is not deactivated and the procedure
must be started again form the beginning.

IMPORTANT: THE GUARANTEE IS NOT VALID IF THE ABOVE DESCALING OPERATION
IS NOT PERFORMED REGULARLY.

What do i do when it flashes descale

See page 18 of your owner's manual for how to do a descaling; it's not a difficult procedure. As to your steamer problem, ensure that the milk container lid is perfectly clean; rinse with plenty of hot running water and ensure that water flows through the openings freely.
Make sure that you are using 2% milk; make sure it's cold 2% milk.

Delonghi Magnifica Coffee Maker the milk is not frothing properly - there's lots of steam & very little milk being issued from the spout We clean the milk jug each day, have adjusted the plastic tube...

You did not state anything about descaling, but every now and then, I also add water and descaler to the milk container and use the "Frothing" program to run through the water and descaling-solution (double-click the Cappuchino button).
I have also noticed that the first cup (and sometimes even the second) will produce less milk, and not as well frothed milk as later cups. My theory is that the machine is warmer when producing later cups.
If possible, you could try to run two-three frothings of plain water through before switching to milk. I realize this is inconvenient, but it could be worth testing this to see if it helps. We luckily have two milk containers and keep one filled with water just for the purpose of heating up (or whatever we do :) the frothing system before serving the first cappuchino.
Good luck!
